Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

When i was looking for a new 911, I went to the dealer to check th ebox on the tip, thinking I wouldnt like it, but living in congestion, i was actually impressed with it and it was not a trade off for me.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I recently sold my 1998 3x Black 993 cab for an everyday 911, so far I am pleased with the 996, definitely a car to drive everyday plus all things like a hardtop and not having the temp guage move up on hot days (former 993'rs will know). Te car had 5,500 miles and I am warrantied through 11/08, really excited about that. So far so good, will keep this for a 2 yrs and then move for a 997. Anxious to see the 997 C4S Cab, really came close to a 996 C4S cab but had a hard tim efinding exact color combo in a tip. Here also is a pic of my former 993

Riad, I kept going to your homepage to view your C4s Cab, was really trying to find one in artic silver with a TIP, very hard, and then this one came along. It was a hamptons weekend car based on the miles, poor thing, its very happy to be "wound up" once in a while now that its out of there

Itzkirb, I like your avatar with the "this is how I shift". When i was looking for a new 911, I went to the dealer to check th ebox on the tip, thinking I wouldnt like it, but living in congestion, i was actually impressed with it and it was not a trade off for me. As a matter of fact, redlining with a coffee in my hand is kind of neat, well maybe not redlining but going through the gears at 4k RPM's is easy to do.

POST 6Original post

Very nice car. I am looking for a 996 cab as well. I would like a 996C4S cab, but I am looking for a Lapis Blue with a manual transmission. Not many out there for sale so I may get a C2 and look to get C4S in a couple years like you are doing.

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

dmac, i ended up getting everything but the "S". Very happy so far with the car, nice to drive short & long hauls
