This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have a 996 Turbo S and just ordered a set of BBS CH-R 19" wheels. The wheels are 11" rear and 8.5" front, what tires should I get? I prefer Michelin Sport Cup 2, planning to get 315/30/19 and 235/35/19... are these fine? Since the rear will be 1" more than the stock diameter, PSM failure may occur?

POST 2Original post

Nope. You have to be under 5% variance from the stock front to back diameter ratio.

So my tire setup should be fine right?

POST 4Original post

you need 315/25/19 in the rear to run 235/35/19's. The rears need to be the same or slightly smaller than the fronts. There's a good thread in the 996 turbo section of the forum about this.
