Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I run 245/40/18 on the front with no issues on a stock M030 suspension setup that is lowered ~1" in the front via strut slotting.
Leading evidence: 'Run 245/40/18' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Replace opinion, the 245's should fit' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Suggestion
Depending on the offset/width of the wheel, which may change my opinion, the 245's should fit.

Hi all, does anyone run 245 aspect tires on the front, I am currently running 235 35 19, the tires I am looking at are not available in the correct load rating in that size but are available in 245, just looking for any of you with experience with the 245's on the front.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I run 245/40/18 on the front with no issues on a stock M030 suspension setup that is lowered ~1" in the front via strut slotting.
Many factors including suspension geometry and setup are going to determine fitment here.
Depending on the offset/width of the wheel, which may change my opinion, the 245's should fit.
The clearances on the suspension components and brakes should be fine.
You may run into fender liner rubbing at full lock in either direction, which can be exacerbated by the spacers.
Thanks, I may be able to get the offset later, I didn't think it would be too much of an issue as the difference in tire height and width is really not that much
If it's a c4 than I see why you would care. But a 245/35 19 is much taller than OE. A 245/30 is closer but a little short. For a daily driver I like the look of the taller rear tire (my favorite is 285/35 18 pilot SS) but I don't think it matters if the front is a little shorter than the rear on a c2.
Either way, just turn your wheel lock to lock. Do you have 5mm to spare front, rear and from the fender? If you do your fine.
OEM specs are 18 x 8 50 ET
225/40 18 is the standard size. They are 25.1" tall and about 9.4" wide. Rim range is 7.5 to 9"
235/40 18 is common and is 25.4" tall and 9.5" wide Rim range is 8-9.5"
245/40 18 will be 25.7" tall and 9.8" wide. Rim range is 8-9.5" This is borderline on a lowered car. Some negative camber may need to be dialed in to get proper clearance and the spacers will probably have to be taken off.
245/45 18 will be 26.7" tall and 9.6" wide. Rim range is 7.5"-9" It's doubtful this size will fit.
Facepalm....sorry about that!
On a 996 25.5" is your target OD.
235/35 19 is most common at 25.5" tall. Section width is 9.5 and rim range is 8-9.5" wide.
245/35 19 is 25.7 and is about 9.8" wide. 8-9" is rim range. That's still an OK size.
245/40 19" takes you up to 26.7" and is 9.8" wide. It's doubtful these will work on a lowered car with spacers.
245/45 19 is too big.
I can tell you a 245 world challenge pirelli slick fits up front on a factory 17 x 9 rear wheel, with factory ride height and camber in spec.
Can't remember the exact size I can check it later if you want. It was tight, wouldn't go any more without a 5-7mm spacer
