Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion

I do not know however if the new Koni kit that uses Eibach's are specifically tailored to Koni's shocks or if they are just using a disguised OTS version.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Looking to lower the car and stiffen it some. This kit is on sale at both Paragon and Tire Rack for $1,200. Read all the threads I could find on this setup and don't see a downside. The kits used to use H&R and now most use Eibach - any real difference between the two? Any reason not to go this route at this price?

POST 2Original post

I personally like the Konis and H&R combo. I thought the Eibach Pro Kit's were a bit on the softer side(not to mention rear end sag over time) and the Eibach Race were a bit too harsh. H&R Sport seemed like a good balance(which is equivalent to what's used on the Koni kit IIRC). I do not know however if the new Koni kit that uses Eibach's are specifically tailored to Koni's shocks or if they are just using a disguised OTS version.

POST 3Original post

I have this set up and find it to be a great compromise between stock and a more extreme coil over set up. The drop was subtle but a visual improvement for sure.
