Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

29 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

I've got a few more items I'm going to be listing for sale that may be of interest: Aasco LWFW with light use $500 (already listed) Short Shift Kit with housing $300 Moton 2 way Remote Coilovers (just rebuilt) $3200 Potentially if there is interest M030 Suspension Quiafe LSD 18" NT01 on Carrera Track Wheels

POST 2 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Oh ya, and the Silver '99 in my profile pic.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

$550? It's still in my car though. Might take a bit.

POST 5Original post

No rush. I'll take it when you're ready. It'll fit my '00, right?

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

TLDR; yes. I'm working on my winter upgrade list and budget and trying to figure out where it will land. I picked up an absolute steal on some JRZ 3-way cup dampers or else I wouldn't even think of selling the Motons. They have been awesome. With the FSI upgrade, the LWFW (that never got installed) has to go or else Jake might quit speaking to me. I'm still on the fence about the LSD. With the amount of nose dive I have in straight line braking and how heavy I rely on trailbraking, an OS Giken Super Lock would be really nice to have. But it's a bit of a budget buster. I'm using the numeric in my track car and stock shifter in my DD, and a fellow RL'er gave me a wicked awesome deal on a set of JIC coilovers so I don't need the M030 anymore. Other projects are monoball bushings in the LCAs, solid rear subframe bushings, and possibly trying a set of front calipers on the rear along with rotors and pads to see what it does to the braking. The big splurge (besides the LSD if I do) is a Max Jax lift, scales and accessories, smart string, and caster/camber guage. Everything except the lift, bushings and LSD I'm buynig used or refurbished. I'm always on the hunt for a bargain. BTW johneecatt, you don't know where a guy could get a set of used mufflers do you?

POST 9Original post

Does this mean you won't have a streetable 996?

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The engine from '00 C4 roller is going in my track car after Jake get done with it. Then I'm moving my track car engine with 10k track miles over to the C4, adding C2 wheel carriers, and installing the JIC coilovers that Country911 gave me a wicked deal on. I'm selling the silver one, even though it's the nicest, because it will be the easiest to sell. And having less than 9k in my DD (if I don't count the engine) will make me feel a little better about the insane amount I'm putting into track car.

POST 11 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

And my apologies and appreciation to JTT for letting me out of the liftbar commitment. I recklessly failed to notice that he lives in Nova Scotia when I committed to free shipping. Yikes!

POST 12Original post

With the FSI upgrade, the LWFW (that never got installed) has to go or else Jake might quit speaking to me. Not if you go with his billet crankshaft.

POST 13 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I asked him initially and he said no way. I already got an ear full for the last question you told me to ask him, probably not going to risk this one. Lol. But if you wanted to ask him for me...

POST 14Original post

Details on the short shift kit, 997, numeric, gt3?

POST 15 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Either B&M or Porsche. I'll take a closer look tonight and see if I can tell.

POST 16Original post

ok in interested, thanks!

POST 17 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Looks like it's B&M. $250 photo189.jpg

POST 18Original post

How much would you be selling the M030 suspension for? How many miles on it?

POST 19 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

$500 + shipping, the same awesome deal Fracture gave me. And that's for shocks struts and sways, but no top hats. I want to say he told me 30k miles but I need to double check. I've put another 2k on them.

POST 20Original post

Quotes source post: 13790334

Thanks - i'm looking for the 997 ssk.

POST 21 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Rumor has it that it's the exact same shifter (that B&M makes the OEM shifter). I've had both but not back to back. They are very similar. No worries either way though.

POST 22 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

New addition. Fabspeed catless x-pipe and Mille miglia mufflers. Selling as a set because they work amazingly well together. $1500 SSK sold, flywheel sale pending, LSD spoken for.

POST 23Original post

Thank you Brandon, not surprised that you are a stand-up guy!

POST 25Original post

Any more inmate on on the shifter? Would you ship to Canada? This would fit my 1999 96 correct? D

I quit drinking the Aasco LWFW cool aid when I read Jake was heavily against it haha. Although I do miss that flywheel, oh well! Engine longevity FTW!
