Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Guys thought I would let you know I am selling an 01 fully built track car. No expense was spared with this car. 7k kms ago it received a crate engine from Porsche and had the IMS updated at that time. Check it out: https://rennlist.com/forums/vehicle-...l#post13800052

POST 2Original post

Nice looking car. GLWS You mention that the IMSB has been updated, but don't mention with what. Might be worthwhile. Hey Slakker, you don't have a yellow one yet right? Gotta catch em all!

POST 3Original post

I thought about it for a minute. The motor alone has some real value.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The IMS bearing is a double row from LN installed in the Porsche sealed replacement engine, 7,000KMs ago. I can forward the recent service history if anyone wants to see.

POST 5Original post

This may be of interest in the VERY near future for me.... My project isn't working out.

POST 7Original post

Great price and beautiful car! GLWS Wouldn't the crate engine have had the larger diameter IMSB? If so, why would you replace it? I don't think there are any documented failures for this bearing.

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

It was recommended by the tech who has serviced this car for the last 8 years. He is very well respected in these parts. Maybe just overly preventable maintenance. This car spared no expense.

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

she is ready to go...just needs a new owner
