I had the clutch engagement switch replaced this year since I was also having the odd starting problem. Not an expensive fix, but a pain because you are upside down with your head in the pedals, but fixed the problem.

Meaning starter doesn't engage?? If so start with the obvious, battery, starter, etc.

Disconnected and re connected the battery , now it starts

If it's a stick make sure you're pressing the clutch all the way down... that has happened to me a couple times.
