Suggestion

Don't know if it helps, but the amp crapped out on mine, so I have a CDR23 head unit (MOST) that I could sell you at a reasonable price, as I replaced head unit and amp with aftermarket.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Looking for help on this issue I'm having with my stereo. It's stuck on the PORSCHE boot screen and looks like it's trying to start flashing on and off. 0cassionally I will get static in my speakers even when the head unit appears off. The things that worked in the past to reset the head no longer work like pulling fuses D 8 & 9 or disconnecting the battery. I've also tried locking and unlocking the car with th fob. That said every once and awhile it will boot up and work fine. Once it works it's good for the remainder of the day and then the next day problem starts all over again. any one else have this issue? Thinking it might be time for a replacement.
