Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

They produced CELs a couple times during the time I had them installed - so, they're unlikely to pass an emissions test.
Leading evidence: 'Install so, they're unlikely' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Install so, they're unlikely' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Nope, I got lazy after the oil change, tilling the garden, washing the dog, and replacing the drip irrigation in Ms.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Bought these as new online a couple of years back as Agency Power units, but they are unmarked and I received no paperwork. So, consider them of unknown manufacturer. I used them for ~2K miles and found absolutely nothing to like about them & went back to the factory ones.
The Bad: When installed with factory mufflers they add an unpleasant metallic resonance to the exhaust sound. The sound might be more compatible with sport mufflers, but assume it won't be. They produced CELs a couple times during the time I had them installed - so, they're unlikely to pass an emissions test.
The Worse: You're probably not going to like them, either & have to swap back to something else.
The Good: They are made of stainless steel and lighter than the factory cats. May be an alternative to bypass pipes. Can't think of anything else positive.

I was going to buy these but you ad talked me out of it!
I have the Top Gear cats from the UK and they are awesome, more power, no cel and sound mean as hell. They look almost identical to yours, they must be different inside.
I installed the
200 Cel Cats from Top Gear in the UK
(See Below) with FISTER D Cans. They look similar to yours but sound mean as hell...especially above 4K. I have posted this video:

Sorry for the zombie project update...good news! The world's worst sport cats do not sound bad at all with my Fister mufflers on my '99 C4. Only about 100 miles on them so far, but overall very pleased. A little rumbly when you're at idle/low RPM, a brutish stock-car undertone when you're deep into it, and the resonant frequency at about 4250 RPM is even likable. I expected to be only moderately disappointed; instead, I'm cautiously optimistic, even pleased.
