Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Looks like fun!
I have a standard ground tent with more room and less weight.. And rolls up 32" x 7"
I've watched people with them set up,, don't see the attraction,, Ok well I'm sure some of its bugs and critteres.. LOL
Mine is sub 5 minutes and I'm in my chair drinking a beer.. Plus ,, not sure I want to be driving along at 90 with something that
big on the roof. I have terrifying visions of it turning in to a drag chute.
I follow 996roadtrip on IG. Apparently Yakima has inspected his vehicle and the tent setup and has given him the thumbs up and officially certified that the set up works with their tent. Pretty sweet to be able to use your 996 in all possible ways if you ask me
Yakima "certified" the tent with the car. Whatever that means. Even Porsche overengineering the roof. The tent setup weighs 110lbs Then add 2 people 300-350 lbs. Thats up to 450 lbs on the roof. Structural integrity? I would love to do this but I have a cab so not going to happen.
I would hope the car can handle 450lbs on the roof. If it flips over in an accident, there would be way more than 450lbs weight on it in a scenario like that.
I have a roof tent on my Tacoma and I love it. On my truck it's not very noticeable, but having an extra 120 pounds on the roof of a 911 would probably make for a slightly odd driving experience.
You are correct sir! Didn't think about that... But alas as i said I have a cab and would not give up the top down experience! Would love to do this on my Subaru!
What it means is that the tent owner lives in the same city as Yakima headquarters and they invited him over to have their engineers look at the setup for him. All of this information is in the article OP provided us.
I believe the aluminum ladder also is a support point. The dude has been camping and using the tent for a while now. His roof should be caved in by now if there was an issue. Anything that increases the utility of our cars is
Go outside and look at your car where the roof rack mounting points are. It's a structural area of the car. You're overthinking things. The tent isn't sitting right on the roof.
