Read evidence and context

Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Been a while since I posted but i need some opinions, and this is a great place for that. My 996 has recently been worked on and it's in perfect shape, like really nice. All I need now are some new springs, what should I upgrade to? I can't believe I like my car so much, I knew I would enjoy driving it, but it's turned into so much more.

POST 2Original post

I've been thinking about suspension upgrades too. I'm trying to decide between X73 and PSS10s. My local independent shop is recommending PSS10s.

POST 3Original post

The X74 that I recently had installed is fully to my expectations and more! Not only is the lowered stance more aggressive looking but the car is rock solid way beyond what it was at higher speeds. Cornering limits are well above my "chicken factor" and I swear it could take a corner now at a 90 degree turn!!! So the X73 for wide body is likely identical for feel. I really believe this is what Porsche intended as a suspension but then went softer for North American tastes.
