Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

In a perfect world, the trunk badge would be removable, but unless somebody knows the trick, how do you detail around those letters that doesn't leave some sort of residue? Soft bristle brushes just don't get all of it, and there must be a proper way to do it...

POST 3Original post

Honestly, the best way to do it is to just pull the badge off and buy a new one. Mine looked atrocious, wax around everything. I pulled it off, polished behind it and applied the new one. Looks 100% better, glad I spent the money on a new badge.

POST 4Original post

Try the soft bristle brush with water. The water softens up the wax and the brush applies some light pressure and probing. Then a Q tip to soak up the residue.

POST 5Original post

I use these cone shaped swabs and a wooden toothpick for the really hard to reach areas.

Where do you get those things? They look perfect for dogs with long ears, too. [QUOTE=SoCal911t;15873980]I use these cone shaped swabs and a wooden toothpick for the really hard tTE]

From Ebay China. I paid $3.06 for two hundred with free shipping last year. It looks like the price has skyrocketed to $5.93. https://www.ebay.com/itm/200pcs-6-in...AAAOSwtxxbVUKK
