Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I replaced all three when I put in my IMS solution, but to be honest they were all in pretty good shape.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I replaced all three when I put in my IMS solution, but to be honest they were all in pretty good shape. I measured the clutch disc at about 8.4-8.5 mm thickness, which if I remember correctly was only .5mm less than the brand new one I put in. The DM flywheel rotates and springs back - I haven't measured it down to the millimeter but I believe its within spec and felt pretty similar to the brand new one.
Right now they're in my garage and taking up space that is interring with my attempt to build a golf simulator. So... they're either going out to the trash, or if they have any value I'll sell them.
Cheers
Charlie
Frankly, if I was that far in, I would replace everything brand new. However, some people have project cars and need to save a buck. Why not list the lot in the for sale forum, or post it up on EBay and see what happens? My choice would be to throw it all in the recycle bin and move on. Stuff has a way of accumulating......
Is it the overall thickness of the disc or the amount of material from the disc surface to the flange side of the rivet head? On my 996 Turbo a new disc measures 1.7mm and is considered worn out when this dimension gets to 0.3mm.
The value is in the DMF -potentially . If you do the correct measurement and it is well within spec., it could have value to a local buyer. Without the test it is .......

How my DMF felt at 55k miles was the catalyst for me doing the IMS Solution and a bunch of other preventative maintenance, and I was impressed at how much better the car felt with a new clutch and DMF. You may be able to find someone to buy them around here and I suspect they would have more value that I'd expect, but to me the advertisement would read "Chewing gum, only chewed for a few minutes, plenty of flavor left"
