This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

16 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hey all. I've wanted a 911 ever since I was 12 years old and I'm proud to say I'm finally an owner. Luckily the 996s are within my financial grasp. My car is a 2002 Carrera 4 Cabriolet in guards red. Overall it's pretty clean, but it's got a few problems that I'm going to clean up over the next few years. The headliner on the soft top is coming loose; the headlights are yellowing; there are quite a few scratches in the interior; and the rear main seal appears to be leaking. I'm going to bring it into a Porsche mechanic to check out the clutch, replace the RMS and the IMS. Overall, I'm so excited. I'm like a kid on Christmas day. I love just looking at the thing.

love the red belts! I may have to steal that for my coupe. Great story and excellent choice!

POST 11Original post

You will love the car - if you are going to have a convertible the 911 is the best out there in my opinion. I drive mine all summer and really enjoy it

POST 12Original post

Nice looking car, but as you can see by my avatar I am biased. Mine is a Carrera 2 but otherwise identical. Enjoy in good health and welcome to the club!
