Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

16 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

It almost looks black but appears to be a dark dark grey? What does it call exactly? Please help identify this color

POST 5Original post

Difficult that blue 718 Cayman because of the light conditions. I always thought Miami Blue would be a more popping type of blue.

POST 6Original post

Is it yours or do you have access to it? If so, you can look along the inside of the frame rail in the front trunk on the (US) driver side for a placard with the paint color on it. At least on mine... You need to pull back the trunk liner to see it.

fortunately it's mine but the previous owner decided to change the original Meridian Metallic (as labeled on the frunk and door jam) to this dark dark grey, and he has no recollection of what it was called... it's been too long ago!

POST 9Original post

Did he say it was a Porsche color? If not, you're almost completely SOL. Paint shops have color books you could use - and spectrometers, but I can tell you from experience it can be very difficult to nail it down - even with just a few options to choose from. That being said - it looks sharp! If its an OEM Porsche color maybe its basalt black metallic or midnight blue metallic.

Basalt black is darker - it looks black until you get close. Atlas grey Basalt black If it's not an OEM color it's a very good solo job.

POST 14Original post

Does it turn violet in sunlight? Looks a bit like my violet chromaflair when it is dark.

POST 15Original post

Is it a black and white photo? It's really hard to see any color there. Oh wait... I see some color in the background.

POST 16Original post

Miami Blue is hot on a Cayman Chack out this 981 GTS!
