Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Leading evidence: 'Clean car' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Clean car' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Suggestion
3% is the stated maximum deviation, but I've found this also needs to account for tire pressure - and recommended pressure is higher in the rear than the front.

Suggestion
If you change wheel diameter pay very close attention to tire sizes.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Took my wifes Touareg in for an oil change a couple weeks ago and found a 2001 996 C4 had just been traded in by a long time customer of my VW dealer. Just Had To buy it and my wife liked the idea. So that is my new vanity license plate; "HADTO".
47,000 miles and crazy clean car. On the lift the chassis looks as if it never saw inclement weather. All nuts and bolts are free of rust and not even much dust or dirt. All rubber bushes etc look very good. At my request the dealer sent the car off for LN IMS and RMS. Dealer is a friend and price was excellent.
Came with Fabspeed Maxflow exhaust and older style fabspeed intake with BMC filter. I have since added the console delete, Continental radio and exstenda seat rails.
My Porsche 991 owner/mechanic says "you stole this car".
My last Porsche was a Yellow 356 SC in 1975. Wish I still had it.
See the shot of the clean chassis.
Congrats! Not usually a fan of vanity plates, but I would chuckle if I would saw that one.
I would ditch the "hot air" intake -- not a good design. Porsche would never do anything like that.
This old style Fabspeed intake is just the stock airbox with a BMC filter, intake tube, and a change to the noise filter to allow more intake noise. So very much like stock. I doubt it does any good or harm.
Very nice indeed,Congrats!!! If I may make a couple suggestions...1) Put some 18" wheels on 'er - save the 17's for winter tires (if you drive in winter). 2) Lowering springs/Coilovers to drop the stance a bit. 3) 15mm wheel spacers... Good to go! (you didn't think this was going to be cheap did you?)
If you change wheel diameter pay very close attention to tire sizes. With a C4 they need to be as close to matching front to rear as possible. 3% is the stated maximum deviation, but I've found this also needs to account for tire pressure - and recommended pressure is higher in the rear than the front. Its a can of worms, so do your homework BEFORE buying tires.
My wheels are 18's as delivered.
Thinking about the ROW M030 for next spring but roads here in the NH Mountains can be rough.
Here are some interior pics as requested.
