My 2003 C4S has the standard tinted glass. Ive had my last couple of cars tinted by a local shop that does amazing job. Any reason I would want to stay away from this? Car not daily driver and garaged.
Enjoying North Georgia mountains
i have an arctic silver 2003 c4s (with sunroof) just like Dawg82's, but i notice in these photos that the sunroof on Looneybin's c2 tilts upward. mine only retracts and doesn't tilt. are there 2 different sunroof versions depending on c2 vs c4/4s?
thanks
All sunroof should tilt and slide (you have to push the button in the middle to tilt)
Regarding tint, I hate tinted glasses on cars. Mine have them tinted from the previous owner (well done, expensive tint film) and I didnt remove it because I am now in Florida... but as soon I come back to my original country, first thing will be to remove the tint.
Bottom line. If you live in a sunshine state, do it if you want to protect the interior. If not, I would avoid it if you can (like a weekend car that you say it is)
For me, 100% Yes for tint. Usually one of the first things I'll do if it doesn't already have it.
Well maybe if I had a highly collectible & perfect vintage long-hood, I'd keep it stock.
I say yes to tint. Florida car/Sunshiine State. Professionally installed ceramic tint all the way around. Keeps car cool and provides UV protection for the leather seats and carpeting.
