I am pretty sure it was the X74 system but I will double check when I go pick up the car.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hello I'm a newbie here but not new to cars by any means. I have put a deposit down on a 02 C4S that was built and tuned by Evolution Motorsports in Phoenix. Car has their Supercharger kit installed and makes about 480HP to the wheels. I should be getting the car withing the next two weeks. I pretty much know everything that has been done to the car but nobody can tell me what brand of wheels are on it. So I hope you guys (and gals) can help me out! Here is a pic of the wheels on the car so maybe somebody here can help solve the mystery. They are a three piece wheel with Porsche center caps.
Thanks for any help you can all offer and I hope to learn from you all here about this amazing machine!
welcome - we had recently discussed that car - nice looking
(see post #17)

not sure what wheels they are - welcome to the club
Thanks! This has been driving me crazy for a few days now and I'm obsessed with figuring out the brand. The guy I got it from bought the car with them on already and doesn't know what they are either.
It has the X74 suspension on it according to the EVOMS paperwork. And it matches my Viper haha which is odd since I use to hate Yellow cars and now I have two.
Then they (or previous owner) put the wrong Pcar race suspension on your car. Your car needs the X73.
Take a peek.

You might want to double check with the seller. Although I really don't know how different it would be X74 vs X73 but they are different because of the extra weight the C4S has. Throw the extra weight of a supercharger on it and I think I would be a little concerned to make sure you have the right set up. I bet that car just runs like a bat out of hell.
Interesting and thanks for the info! I am pretty sure it was the X74 system but I will double check when I go pick up the car. I drove it for about 10 miles on the streets and on the highway and it was very smooth and drove straight. As for the power it is pretty quick but it's such a drastic difference between the Viper which is also supercharged. The Viper is raw and in your face but the Porsche was smooth and the power came on later and then it just pulled like mad.
No it's the stock motor. Honestly I'm not worried about it. As long as the tune is correct and you listen for any signs of detonation you will be fine. Not my first rodeo with a highly modded car...or truck for that matter.
There is one in the folder of receipts the owner has. I will post it up when I get it.
