I found a set of tires for my car. I�m getting ready to send payment but before I do I want to be sure they will fit.
Reassured by those who know better than me.
Here are some images with front and rear tires.
If I need to tell you the offsets I will find out that information.
Im not sure the images are clear enough so tire sizes are as follows-
225/40R19
305/30/R19
Those tires seem to be a few different kinds...mixed treads? The rears don't have much left....be aware of the DOT dates.
What car are you fitting them on?
This is what the seller has told me-
They are Bridgestone Potenza Pole Position S-04. Fronts are 245/35/19 and rears are 305/30/19. When I bought the car they were advertised as being installed in last 2k miles & 2016 DOT codes(prior owner drove the car about 800 miles only over 2 years). I added about 50 miles before swapping wheels.
Buy new tires and never look back. When they tell you that they have 2K miles on them, that means 6K miles. Unless you are buying a wheel/tire combo.....you still are going to pay $125 - $200 to have them mounted and balanced, go with brand new and put a smile on your face. You really aren't saving anything in the long run.
I just put Michelin Pilot Sport 4S's on my car.....OMG, what a transformation of the cars handling with no sacrifice in ride quality!
Hi guys, I�m the seller...
The tires and wheels are what I�ve claimed. The car had 88k miles when sold to the prior owner in early 2015. He replaced them at some point in 2016 and I bought the car with 91,250 miles on it about a month ago. Drive it 50 miles straight to mechanics shop and rims and tires came off immediately. I have a 996tt, these are stock 997tt wheels and I need to run 315/25 tears so I couldn�t use the tires even as they are not correct circumference front to rear ratio wise for me.
Wheels are OEM 997tt wheels: 19x11 et51 in the rear.
They will stick out 29mm further in the rear. Will it fit? I don�t know, probably not on a lowered car. But clearly someone has fit them before as shown in the pictures Brian posted.
