Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Leading evidence: 'Replace oil' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Replace oil' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

yes, I will be watching closely.. Ive had that issue when cold as well, ive been able to avoid it by giving more care and attention to 2nd when cold, then no issues, but this is a great option. :-)
Good luck
I'm glad I put it in as mine was popping out out of second all the time before. G'luck doing it yourself. I tried, gave up, and took it to the shop for the install.
talking to Stanley at gbox.... he states that this will have a wider tolerance for the shifter (syncro) to go in place... people seem happy with the results.
so much for "looks easy". Will try to install this weeks.... pics coming soon.
Yeah this has been around for about a year. and some did it last year. IIRC the job isnt quite as easy as it looks with the tranny in the car. That bolt that holds it in, is in a tight location..and (like I said IIRC) it is perched on top the tranny on the passenger side. It has something almost over top of it.. a line perhaps or mount... cant remember..... But after you also get the bolt out you some how have to lift the old one out and that also isnt exactly easy.. Something to do with a magnet and fishing....
Good luck I hope I am wrong..... Looking fwd to this "To be continued"
No doubt, it's close to the top of the trany so you have to reach around to get it. It's also by some other cables etc. I got to the point where they were saying to grind down a allen key so you can squeeze it in a tight space to take off the bolt. Then there is the problem of the powerful enough magnet to take out the detent and spring, and placing the new one the right angle when you put it in. I think you could do it all much easier with a lift.
The dealer charged about $100 to do it if I remember correctly.
