I have a set of stock 17" rims that you can have cheap (say $250, if you come pick them up in VT). I got them with a 996 I bought, have never used them, and I don't see myself ever using them. I have way too many sets if tires and wheels clogging up the garage.

It turns out I have half a set already - though not original 996 wheels. I have two 17x7 Cup IIs and one rear wheel (9.5?). Want to get two 17x8s for my winter/rallycross tires. Anyone have a lead on 17x8s? Part numbers are from 964 catalog: 965.362.126.01 or 993.362.126.00

Nice find. But have 1.75 sets of those already. I had a rear crack on me, so I bought another set just to replace the rear. I'm really trying to find a pair of 17x8s. They would be just about right for my targeted rear tire. I can go as wide as 8.5, but would prefer 8. It turns out the 8" Cup IIs seem to be rather rare. I think they were intended for.....wait for it....winter tire use. At least that's how they are listed in the PET.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
