I had a MAF voltage error as well as a lambda sensor error, and replaced both.

Yes, I did a full service, with new filters, oil and plugs when i changed the coils

Hi My 1998 996 tiptronic starts up when cold with a slightly rough idle, and then runs smoothly till its warm, runs fine but then when you stop at a traffic light the idle falls, and sometimes the car switches off. I had a MAF voltage error as well as a lambda sensor error, and replaced both. I also replaced the idle control valve, and cleaned the throttle body. The car has a new set of coil packs. Could it be injectors? AOS? Faulty coil, or spark plug? The car has 142 000 km (90 000 miles)

First try unplugging the MAFS and see if the car behaves any differently.

Start by disconnecting the battery, cleaning the throttle body and MAF. Make sure battery stays disconnected for at least 15 minutes. Don’t forget about radio code. After doing the above, my MT drives like new.

If you have a code reader scanner you should be able to see what the maf is doing, they are cheap compared to many parts, I carry a spare..
