Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I was removing a crappy after market radio from my 99 C2 today and I moved the steering column all the way in to get more room. After I removed the unit, I went to take the car for a ride and the SRS light came on. I also noticed the horn didn't work. Moved the column back up all the way and the horn works now but the SRS light is still on. Is my clock spring failed? Thanks

POST 2Original post

Either clock spring or a wiring issue in or around the steering column.
