Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Suggestion
If you use tires which are quite different you run the risk of changing the handling of the car quite a bit - or so I have been told.
Leading evidence: 'Run risk of' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Run risk of' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

(Mods please don't move this to the tire forum. It has way better publicity here!)
I recently had the opportunity to attend the Cadillac Driving Event at Laguna Seca. It was a great event where they call out owners of Porsches, BMW's and other marques and have them drive their CTS & CTS-V cars through some car control exercises and on track. It was great publicity, and while I may not buy a cts car, I was blown away by their hospitality and service(and it was free!)
They had a session on tire construction, with an expert from Michelin. I don't remember his name, but he was a retired senior tire construction specialist at Michelin. I asked him what the deal was with rotating a directional tire. IE if I want to flip my PS2's left and right tire, would it be safe to drive this on track?
His response was surprising. He said that as long as there is no rain, safety WILL NOT be compromised in any way by flipping a directional tire's outside to the inside(Left-right tire flip). He said that some tires have optimizations which allow them to grip better when put on the right way, but that it's perfectly safe to run them backwards.
It was my understanding that this was a definite no-no, but this guy was as reputable & knowledgeable as they come.
Thoughts on this?
Makes perfect sense. We do this all the time with R-comps on the track anyway. No worries about flipping them, except in the rain. RA1, R888, NT-01, MSPC, all run fine backwards...

Would be interested in what he thinks about mixing brands (as long as the size is the same) for street driving (not track). I know the rule of thumb is don't do it but other than Sneaky Pete's comments that it will mess up the electronics (ABS, etc.) no one can give me a reason why not to. Would love to know what the experts think.
Tire slip angles are engineered into the design. If you use tires which are quite different you run the risk of changing the handling of the car quite a bit - or so I have been told.
