Had that familiar rattle before it was joined by an additional rattle of broken up Catalytic converter material (4th set). I got a CEL couple of months ago and had it checked and of course, the cat was throwing a code. Decided to leave it in (even if annoying) because my car was out of warranty (even emissions). But now, that I have to get my car checked for emissions and registration renewal, decided to tackle both things. Got a used set of cats and had a muffler shop open the PSE up and weld the baffle (left one) back in and replace out both cats. I'll have to see if the code goes away (doing research it tells me 7 cold starts or I disconnect the battery). If not, will reset using computer. Cost: $400 (probably high for what it was but oh well). I'll reinstall the bad cats back after I get my renewal stickers because I don't feel like burning up another set of catalytic converters and they're pricey new and I'm too cheap to spend another dollar on a worthless design.

OEM cats? Why don't you go aftermarket with 200 cells? I think it'll sound great with the PSE.
