On the 996, its how do DIY replace the window regulator because the dealer charges $450, on the 997 forum we read about refreshing their 2007 with a 2009 PDK, and in Carrera GT the owner pulls his 2 Ferrari's, 3 Lambo's, a GT2, and his CGT out of the 12 stall air conditioned garage for a Spring picture.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

91 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

How long before a 3.4 or 3.6 engine blows up? Do I have RMS? Will you give me a free carfax report? Which is better, a 911, a boxster or an M3? Pick one, start a thread, and wait. -td

POST 4Original post

There was a thread somewhere with pics of porsches surrounded by skimpily clad women. Maybe that thread needs a bump.

POST 5Original post

I heard a rumor that all 996 engines blow up. Is this true? Anyone have some hard numbers to back this up? Edit: Damn td, you beat me to it.

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I use different brand tires between the front and rear. Will it affect the handling? Note: I feel much better now..

POST 8Original post

Too much repost in the forum but what do you want in a crowded comunity? 996 series were born more than 10 years ago... we have seen almost everything, and the 996 is not going so far than this. I find interesting the Excellence article thread because I want to learn, and increasing my knowledge. The M96 engine give us new interesting points through Jake's point of view. The rest threads are always the same... We have the same boring threads in Soloporsche.com .

Or the Bentley forum - with the market in free fall, what are we supposed to do? Post pics of our Timex's?

POST 19Original post

It can be funny to see the types of topics & problems that come across in 996 vs 997 vs Carrera GT forums. So, my right window seems to be raising just a little slower then my left, should I start budgeting for a regulator?

POST 20Original post

I vaselined the inside of my tires, but no HP gain. Any ideas?
