This is not a probability of success.

Anyway, does it look like I'll have to replace the whole bumper (the material is cracked/torn)?

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I said a whole lot more than that when I discovered this booboo... Of all places, it happened in my work parking lot... getting ready to run down to security to see if I can find out who did it... As a jury of my peers (I know that's not quite the intended application) is this a capital offense? Does punishment of the perpetrator rise to justifiable homicide? How about temporary insanity? Pisses me off so much I want to kill whoever did it and torture afterwards... I don't think I've even had my baby 3 months yet... Anyway, does it look like I'll have to replace the whole bumper (the material is cracked/torn)? If so, the silver lining might be to replace it with one of those fancy GT-style bumpers. What do you think? ouwie1.jpg ouwie2.jpg Rudy ------------------------------- '01 Arctic Silver/Black C2 Cabriolet '03 Silver F-150 Supercrew

POST 2Original post

Time to watch for a GT - Aero or what ever makes you smile... dont get in a hurry, its winter and just think of the old one as "chip guard" till spring comes... then replace it. Its an easy DIY and if you take your time, ther are plenty available (might even find one already painted) Stock is really cheap to replace if you buy second hand, some of the others can get a bit more... Also, http://www.renntech.org/forums/index...ron+headlights do this and it will make the front more updated...IMHO

POST 4Original post

I'm thinkin that with the height and distinctive shape of that mark, it shouldn't be too hard to match it to the PERP. Homicide might be a little extreme, just chop off their shifting hand.

POST 5Original post

Awe Rudy, that SUCKS!!! MK I bumper and side skirts will make you glad it happened! Well, not really, but I looking for the "silver lining" here.

POST 6Original post

damn, that sucks!.... can bondo it, but why do that. I would replace it. If you go with gt3 bumpers, then you need side skirts and maybe a carrera wing. or you can ebay it... http://shop.ebay.com/items/_W0QQ_nkw...romZR40QQ_mdoZ
