i need a turbo-look rear wheel, so i got one from ebay, the seller has 100% feedback, and he was selling 2 rear wheels at the same time, guess he's p-car owner. got called from the tire shop today saying the wheel is bent from inside, and they need $100 to fix it. going to see it tomorrow morning. my question is, how do i know if the shop is giving me correct information? second, how do i go with the seller? i already sent the seller ebay message to ask my money back. yes, it's hard to buy things long distance.

spin it on a balancer and look down the barrel of the wheel while it's spinning. You'll be able to see the bend immediately if it is bent. if the bend is not too severe you my be able to balance it out, but you may still feel it.

Also if paypal, begin a dispute immediately, same with ebay for selling item not meeting with description. 90% of time these actions will give you positive outcome. Goodluck.

i paid $105 for the wheel, $40 for shipping and handling. the tire shop wants $100 to fix it. i will go to the tire shop tomorrow to see it.

went to the shop this morning, looked at the wheel spinning, i can tell it's bent. also there' s a impact point inside the wheel where the bent is. waiting for reply from the seller, will start the dsipute process tonight if seller doesn';t want refund me
