I'd like to think that courtesy and politeness towards the officers, made me pass the "attitude test" with them.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

31 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 3Original post

FTMFW if you can get it to go through. The others don't do anything for me.

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Quotes source post: 4825936

In Georgia. FTMFW = For The *****-fockin Win C.

POST 8Original post

If that's what FTMFW means, you should skip it. Profanity on plates is juvenile, and turns a lot of people off. And don't you have a customer-oriented business?

POST 11Original post

I say no to all of the above. What about - WHTLITNG?(or something along those lines)

POST 12Original post

Actually, on second thought doesn't white lightning refer to moonshine? If it does, this could work nicely in the south. LOL You would probably have Roscoe P. Coltrane following you in no time. HAHA

If I din't already have my OHIO ST8...I would love ALL H20. J

Hmmm ... In FL there's a website to check the availability of a desired plate. If it is you can reserve it. Is there something similar in GA?

POST 17 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Sadly - no. Wish there was...it would make it easier C.

Chad - How about a few pertaining to your profession SIG MAN (hee hee) GRAFIX DESIGN DSGNMAN (design man) GRFXDSN (graphic design) PUTERPX ('Puter pics) FLIMTOG (a guy on the 997 Forum has this one, I love it! - read it backwards)

POST 23Original post

Chad, 9Porsche and Porsche9 are both available in NYS, maybe in GA? My son had a funny idea for a vanity plate when I was trying to figure out what one meant the other day. He suggested a plate with several letters and numbers that mean absolutely nothing but gets people reading and trying to figure it out. lol I thought of the new "text messaging" that might work, I.e. TTYL seems like a fit for your car.

POST 25Original post

I agree, skip the vanity plate(s). Skip the bumper stickers. Skip your college window sticker. Skip anything that might not be to the liking of the officer who pulls you over. Where as all these things mean something or have value to you ... they may have the exact opposite effect for him or someone else. Without these little personal touches, he'll be more apt to keep his head in a neutral mindset - one without programmed or conscious dislike or hatred. Every action has an exact and equal reaction. Let the car speak for itself.

POST 26Original post

absurd. do what you want with the damn car and don't live by fear... esp of popo.

POST 27Original post

Quotes source post: 4831236

Oh I disagree in regards to the plate. I have the below plate and I think it speaks for itself, but let me explain: 1. I have had the domain name of The Speed Demon for 10 years now. 2. The Speed Demon was based upon my love for things that go fast (not quick) and the dark side of me. 3. A lot of my screen names are The Speed Demon. 4. Just recently I was pulled over for going 80+ in a 55 and the CHP didn't say a thing about my plate and I did not get a ticket. I do not like bumper stickers myself or really any other stickers in windows, the plate is a fun thing to do or even for marketing. Getting yourself in trouble with the law after being pulled over is all about attitude towards them. Of course if you have some vulgar comments on there that would upset pretty much anybody or if it is directed at a specific group of people, then you have already put yourself in a position, but a plate is not going to do that in most cases. Plus we are Porsche people and would not place stickers on our cars. My 2 pennies on this

Your vanity plate has absolutely no bearing on whether you will be ticketed or not. I've been pulled over twice with my vanity plate (996 C4S), PCA and rennlist stickers proudly displayed and was let off with only a warning both times; last time I was clocked at 147km/h in a 100 km/h zone AND my extinguisher was still mounted in plain view since I'd been at the track the day before. I'd like to think that courtesy and politeness towards the officers, made me pass the "attitude test" with them.

POST 29 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Plate ordered. (my very 1st one )... TRNFAST Could not believe it was available. GA would not let me have 996AER0 due to it being so close to existing plates... Kinda wanted that one. In 90 days, it should arrive... C.

Good thing you didn't get "996Aero", with all the mods you're doing it may not be an Aero in 90 days
