Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Also, can I use my obd2 scanner to read any codes for the ABS system?

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Recently I noticed my ABS and Brake fluid lights are on once I start up my car. I have checked my brake fluid and it is at full level. What other things can cause this? Where else should I check?
Over the weekend I had my rear tires replaced. Both rear tires are 285/30/18. The ABS and Brake Fluid lights are still on. Is there a way to reset this or is something wrong? I have already tried to unplug the battery and left it unplugged for about 2 hrs and when I start it back up, lights are still there.
When I had a defective brake fluid level sensor, in addition to the low fluid warning, I got the PSM OFF warning, but never an ABS warning. (My car is an '01)
I do not have psm but I have TC, my car is a 99. I do not get the TC off light on my car. Where is the brake fluid level sensor? Does that cause the ABS light too?
Also, can I use my obd2 scanner to read any codes for the ABS system?
Seeing how this all started when you upset the ABS controller with the spare, I suspect the instrument cluster is generating the brake fluid level warning in response to the ABS fault that is stored in the system. But that's just a guess, based on the fact that the ABS controller isn't connected to the brake fluid level switch. I suggest you get the ABS fault reset; that'll require either the Porsche system tester or the Durametric softwre. A generic OBD-II code reader isn't going to know anything about that.
Just a hunch...but do you have an aftermarket intake (k & n or evo)? If so, you could have a blown Maf, or you could have a blown maf even if you are running the stock intake. When my maf went I had an abs light go off for some reason. worth checking, and good luck.
