I'm looking for a wire to tap into that goes to 12V when the ignition switch is in the ON/RUN position. Preferably something in the rear, but anything easy to get to. Interior is stripped. It'll need to supply about 800mA. Any suggestions? Jon

Try the telephone wiring connector that is between the airbag controller and the gear shift in the center of the car. It has both 12v switched and unswitched as well as a return ground. I use it for ipod power

I use 3 things for my ipod set up 1. Becker "aux-in" cable" for the audio feed to the radio (that is the one with the RCA connectors on one end and the blue connector on the other) , and 2. The becker "telephone prep" cable for power. 3. For the actual interface to the ipod that includes charging and iPod "pause" I use the Blitzsafe iPhone universal interface. I ran the iPod cable up through the ashtray which holds my iPhone.

Itusler: Thanks, but I found the diagrams (and all the shop manuals) in pdf. Orient: That's sort of what I ended up doing, but I tapped into the wiring coming off the fuse for the telephone (E8). Finding that connector would probably have been easier. Thanks.
