Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion
I still haven't gotten my camber setting where I want it but with -1.8 and -2.0, the offset can be a bit more aggressive in the front.
Leading evidence: 'Set where i want it' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Set where i want it' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I _think_ I have narrowed down my wheel choices to two.. Thoughts on the below in regards to looks and fitment? My 996 is Seal Grey Cab.
Front: 19x8.5, 45 offset
Rear: 19x10.5, 50 offset
Also available with other offsets, suggestions for offset for above?
-OR-
Front: 19x8.5, 56 offset
Rear: 19x11, 67 offset
19 X 8.5" front & 19 X 11" rear
Offset: 56 mm front & 67 mm rear
I vote for A.
the rims on the 997TT are so distinctive that they don't work on other cars for me. Plus, I don't think they look that good to begin with (sorry).
Agree 100%. Turbo rims just seem like they only belong on the 997. Else, and taking it to an extreme, it reminds me of the Pontiac Fiero 'Ferrari' kit.
The first is what I am leaning toward as well. Funny that I posted the same question at 6speedonline, their responses have been the exact OPPOSITE of here! ROFL... Not sure what that means...
gonna call the manufacturer later to find out what the other offsets available are... what areTHE BEST offset for the widths of 8.5 front and 10.5 rear for a narrow body?
I am not interested right now in 11" wide in the rear for various reasons (cost of wheels, cost of tires <albeit not that great a difference>, limitation on what is available in that width, etc.). IF mine was a wide body then maybe. My basis of confusion is that so many say (for example) to go with 295's on 10.5" wheels yet when you go to tirerack.com (or call them) their 10.5" wheel and tire packages default to 275 tires.
THAT is why I asked the simple question: What is the optimum offset for 8.5" front and 10.5" rear?
I'll be different I guess- as simple as they are and with so many similiar designs I still like the turbo wheels- I dont really know what it is that I dont like about the black rims- just MO - you gotta like them
My current rim setup that came with the car is 8.5" (40ET) and 10.5" (46 ET) on 255/35 and 295/30. No rubbing on GT3 ride height with PSS9s. I still haven't gotten my camber setting where I want it but with -1.8 and -2.0, the offset can be a bit more aggressive in the front.
I personally would go with 9" and 11" combo if I bought a another set of rims.
