The PSS9's were a great shock, but sometimes I would hear people say they did not feel much change from click to click.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Due to my charming personality and striking good looks, I managed to get a line on the brand new Bilstein PSS10's for 996 C2!!!! I am leaving for the night, but if you are interested PLEASE EMAIL ME! I will not be able to check this thread until tomorrow. [email removed] I will respond first thing in the morning with the part # and pricing! I can begin shipping by the end of the week!

POST 2Original post

Does anyone know what the PSS10 will be offering over the PSS9 besides another adjustment notch? Is the electronic sport/non sport button available on these for the 996 yet (I see a few BMW models have this integrated into the system)? How do the spring rates and damping characteristics differ from the PSS9 for the 996 C2? Anyone?

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Ok, here is the scoop. The PSS9's have been discontinued. They are being replaced with the PSS10's. They offer one more range of adjustment, but that is not the main reason for the update. There has been significant advances in the valve stack that controls the oil flow. This will give better feel and the changes that you do make on the **** will be more pronounced. The PSS9's were a great shock, but sometimes I would hear people say they did not feel much change from click to click. That's all been sorted. I also want to note that these are NOT electronically adjustable. They are just like the PSS9's. There is an external know on the shock with 10 different settings. I hope this clears the air.
