Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi all...winter tires are being mounted on my winter wheels as we speak. I purchased H & R 15mm hubcentric spacers, along with the suggested bolts from Perf. Prod. Anyhow, the kit came with some specs, but no real instructions, not that I really need them. But...my issues are as follows. I have not swapped yet, and I'm not really sure whether the raised lip faces in or out? I'm thinking out so the wheel can sit properly, but I wanna make sure. Also, I'm not certain as to what torkue (yes..."kue" button out) to tighten the spacer bolts to. I know the wheel bolts need to be 96 lbs though. Any input is appreciated. J

POST 2Original post

you've answered all your question correctly, lip out, 96lb torque. Dont forget to use the little screw to attach the spacer to the hub... you forgot the part of the before and after pics though.

Ah...I see where you are headed now! When you see my cue broken....it's my laptop! and all the metal leads and pins are destoyed...the actual cue button is gone, and the underside is exposed. J

POST 7Original post

I never used the little screw with my spacers....don't you think that 5 bolts should be enough to keep it al into place?

Hi Loren...doesn't seem to work on a laptop! Unless I'm doing something obviously wrong...not happenin on my end. Thanks anyway! I've tried a gazillion different ways...numbers all at once...one at a time...etc. And thanks for the rest of the input fellas. Are there any issues with using these 60mm aftermarket replacement bolts? Just making sure. Lastly....my kit came with two different sizes of the securing screw...I'm assuming these are for various other cars? Another just making sure remark. J

POST 15Original post

Different laptop manufacturers may have different method of activating alternate number keys please read your Laptop manual. On some laptops you need to also hold down the Fn key - again this will vary by manufacturer.
