Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

At the moment, I am liking the sound of the GHL. So...it is looking like I will end up keeping it. HOWEVER... I am not a fan of the "stubby" exhaust tips. I would like to swap them. I have no idea which exhaust the PO put on the car. Whether it had factory tips or GHL ones. My question is, either way....can I swap the tips? C.

POST 2Original post

You can use either stock or aftermarket tips with the GHL mufflers. I put aftermarket tips on my stock exhaust and re-used them with the GHL with no issue at all.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Sweet. Many thanks for the reply. C.

The stock tips look better to me. When you posted earlier that you were going to sell the GHL's I was shocked since they sound sooo good to me.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I was debating...I like my exhaust L-O-U-D. The GHL is nice, growly, and subtle. Fabspeed and the PSE are my preference. We'll see what transpires. I'll keep the GHL for now. C.
