Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Seriously...do you lubricate the doors, trunk, hood and other hinges on a regular basis? I did it today and noticed an improvement in annoying noises. For those of you that haven't, nice and cheap mod to improve your car!

POST 2Original post

What? No! Jeeze! What kind of person do you think I am?

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Its ok to admit it, everyone does it

POST 4Original post

What kind of annoying squeaks are you experiencing? Does not seem normal. Ive had a 996 and a 986 and they were both faultless when it came to squeaks and rattles, it appears you have a coupe as well, even my boxster did not squeak... You may also have the dealer do it under warranty if it is severe.
