My plan to gain some additional room is find a set of used manual 997 seats and drop them in.

Howdy folks...
Turns out the car was in even BETTER condition I first thought. And...I was dead on about the interior room with the lack of a sunroof. With a helmet on, I have an additional 1/2"+ of headroom. This car is the perfect fit for me.
My plan to gain some additional room is find a set of used manual 997 seats and drop them in. They allow for greater adjustment vertically. In the meantime, the sports will do nicely.
Wheels are being sold. The 19" wheels are simply waaayyy to bling for my taste. However, the replacements will be factory.

Chad - It was great meeting you on Saturday. I really enjoyed our conversation. Your car is very sweet looking! Get the PSS9's reset and the 18" wheels mounted and enjoy the ride!
Congrats! I saw the ad. for this car a week or two ago and showed it to a co-worker. Super clean lines and I actually like the black wheels with white. Which white is it? If you want a different style of wheel, I would suggest the 18" RAD wheels so that the car looks like a MK 1 GT3. I could have sworn somebody was selling some on this board.

As for the mods - the list is long but worth it. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the 3-spoke steering wheel I have is a bit thicker and not as wide as most I have seen. In fact, upon measuring the diameter it is between 365-370mm. Perfect. Although, I may still consider an aftermarket 340mm wheel. TBD.
Other mods will be shown as I get them. Not much left to do to the suspension. GT3 bars are for certain. I think you guys will really like what I have planned for wheels. They are going to look HOT.
In the meantime, if anyone knows of a 997 guy selling stock manual seats, LET ME KNOW!!
I want them.
