I had my window down and was pulling out of the garage slowly and heard a slow click,click,click sound coming from the transmission area. Reverse Gear? I can't hear it when I have window up or if I reverse at a reasonable speed, just very slow.

I used to hear that noise and always thought it was transmission related, only makes that noise when the car is cold and only when I move in reverse. Went away after I replaced the water pump. I know there is no connection between the two, but the noise immediately went away with a new water pump. so I am still puzzled at that....
