Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

13 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Well, After a few months of hard searching, I'm back into the Porsche fold. I picked up my new to me 99 996 MK I Aero to replace my 99 Aero that was totaled when a careless kid hit me in May. It's been a long summer as I spent 4 months in physical therapy and I'm still not 100% but close now. My new 99 is Silver with 31K on the odometer. It's really clean and will be undergoing surgery for PSS9's, GT3 control Arms and Sways over winter. I'll also be adding the GT winglets for the rear bumper, fabspeed exhaust and some other odds and ends but that will come in time. I couldn't be happier as I felt I was robbed of my last Porsche after having it for only 6 months. I'll post pics tomorrow as it was a long drive from NC where I picked up the car and I was tired yesterday. Thanks Dell and others for their impressions of European Performance, as they where great and really instrumental in helping me make my decision to buy this car. Pete

POST 2Original post

Pete, Congrats. I'm glad you are back in a P-car, but more importantly, I glad that you personally are getting back closer to 100%. Can't wait to see the pics!

POST 4Original post

Hey congrats on the car. Can't wait to see pics. -Paul

POST 5Original post

We knew it wouldn't take you long, a nice White '99 Aero is now for sale on this site too, also glad to hear that your PT is coming along. Looking forward to seeing the pics of your new ride

POST 6Original post

Sounds like you are bouncing back with PT almost behind you, and a nice C2 replacement for your former ride. Welcome back. Did you have PSS9 and GT3 parts on your last P car?

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Sorry for the delay but I've was out of town last week. I finally got a chance to wash and quick detail the car after the trip up from NC to the DC suburbs (boy I collected a lot of bugs). We'll here are the pictures of my new addition. The last one is with my friends MK II Aero. I can't believe I found a car this age and so clean. Pete
