Connecticut had the best foliage that I saw, but it's still not peaking there either.
Fall Foliage Drive: Lambertville NJ to Highpoint State Park, NJ and back.
This is a little different from our previous drives - more an occassion to enjoy the scenery on a drive up into the hills.
Be warned that this is a longer drive than previous ones. Attendees from NJ and NY are welcome to head their own way on the drive back.
Bring a picnic lunch and 2 way radios if you have them.

We anticipate being back in at the start point around 2pm.
Cool!
This might be an all-day event though - I'm looking at the map and it's going to be significantly longer than previous drives. I figure that's the best way to get some scenic drives and good color.
One benefit for the NY/NJ guys is that they could bail at the most northern point if they chose to.
The bail option sounds good, since my wife LOVES when I take off for a joy ride while leaving her with the two kids! It's two months away, so I'll be checking this thread as it gets closer to go time.
Thanks for putting these drives together!
Not a problem! It would be great if you can make it.
I know my wife didn't react favorably when I told her that it would be a long drive. I think pointed out that a trip to the Poconos would be equally long.
As you said, the drive is 2 months away, so there's plenty of time for things to change as things shape up.
Andy....I'm in the same boat here...but 3 machismos at home. I'm in as far as I know! Was just talking about this in another thread 2 days ago. My proposal would be a stint up the Palisades from the NY side, and upstate thru mountain twisties, ending up North of New Paltz for some german eats. Just an alternative suggestion.
Also, we should cross post for a great turnout.
J
Great - glad to have everyone along. Just a heads-up. This will be different from preiovus drives. It will be relatively uncomplicated - longer (upto twice as long) and focus on fall colors, rather than dragging everyone through the backroad roller coaster. I'll also have to figure out places for us to stop and eat.
This is not one of my routes, but one I obtained from a member of the Ducati club, but it looks really pretty from the satelite photos that I looked at last night.
It would be great have you both along.
We are still on. As predicted I've had a pretty busy month so far, but I'm hoping to pull the route together this weekend and drive it in the upcoming weekends. Thanks for bumping the thread - I guess if we start getting the threads active, then it will motivate me to find time to get everything organized.
The plan is to start in Lamberville (usual place) and head north into Jersey to High Point State park - the highest point in NJ. The foliage should be nice by then and it should make for a nice drive. Those that join us from NY and Jersey will then be free to either head their own direction home, or join us for the ride back.
I hope to see you (and the rest of our regulars) there!
I may try and make it as well, being that Lambertville is 15 minutes from me and I missed the other rides. Anyone bringing wife and/or kid(s)? My 4 year old son loves driving in the 911 - not sure about all day though?
Stefan
Well, this is a PCA sponsored event, so we would very strongly prefer that you bring a Porsche.
We'll allow other cars to come along, but reserve the right to limit the number of non-Porsche (depending upon turnout) cars... oh yeah, and you'd have to sit at the back of the class.
I organize the drives for the RTR PCA region and invite Rennlisters along - or vice versa, depending in which group you're in.
The event insurance is provided by PCA.
Maybe the drivers from North Jersey/New York should meet you up at HighPoint?
I know it takes me about and hour and a half to get down to Lambertville and probably about the same to get to High Point.
Yeah, this is a tough one for those in your position. I would totally understand if you chose to do that and would try to get the information to you to allow it to happen.
My wife and I are in the Pocono Region but we went on the last covered bridge tour and enjoyed the ride and the company. We will see you there. Ed & Terry
Okay - I just completed a satelite map run through of the route - this is going to be easy.
Looks like a good mixture of terrain. We'll end up going through a couple of small towns - I could avoid them, but to be honest it's not worth the effort and complications that it causes. I think I have it on my calendar to do the dry run on Sept 30th, so that's something to look forward to.
A couple of questions if you don't mind:
Using Mapquest, it looks like your starting point is about 5 hrs. from me in MA. Where would we end up and approx. at what time? If I do this, I'd probably stay at a hotel the night before and just want to figure if I'd want to stay over or head home on Saturday PM.
Does each participant get a printed route at the starting point?
Thanks, sounds like it might be fun.
Our Northernmost point will be Highpoint State park, NJ. I can't tell you the exact spot yet, nor an idea of time, as I've not driven it yet.
My estimation of the the route is that we will get to Highpoint somewhere around 11am (depending on if we insert a break and how long we take). I will look for somewhere in the area for us to have lunch, then expect us to be back in Lambertville around 2-3pm. Right now this is just a guess. I will not know for sure until I've done the drive.
We would love to have you along. If you're interested in a hotel room in Lambertville, I believe that Ramp has stayed at the Lambertville Inn on a couple of occasions - you might want to PM him to get the details.
Just to clarify, you plan to drive Lambertsville -> High Point -> Lambertsville? Do you have a different route planned for the return trip?
Also, I notice that High Point is very near Port Jervis, NY and the associated "back road roller coaster" known as Route 97. For those of us that are into that sort of thing (more than a few of us, I think), it might be fun to detour up 97 for a little while before heading back to meet the rest of the group. Thoughts?
The drive will be as you state Lambertville to High Point and back again.
At this point I do not know if we will take the same route back as we take up there. I'm thinking of coming back via the Delaware Water Gap, but do not know if that will make for too long a drive. I'm still working that bit out.
As I said in a previous post, the NNJ and NY attendees are free to head off in a different direction as it suits them, as it doesn't make a lot of sense for them to head back down to Lambertville.
As I am from NEPA my wife and I cruise Rt 97 often, and is one of our favorite rides. A good part of it part of it follows the Delaware and if you go north enough you will get to Callicoon which , very early in road racing in the USA, held a couple of really nice races. For those who are in for an adventure, it is a h*ll of a ride. Ed
Right now I'm trying to figure out how we do this without it becoming too long a drive. 97 sounds like a lot of fun, bujt I'm afraid that the detour (on top of the 100 miles to get us to Highpoint) will be too much. I'm also trying to figure out if detouring through the Delaware Water Gap will also make it too long. We'll see.
How would people if we did this as a picnic up at Highpoint, rather than finding a placed to eat?
I'm thinking that it would allow you to hang out and socialize.
The other option is for someone to recommend an informal place that can handle a large number of people for lunch at short notice in Port Jervis. Anyone?
Let me know your thoughts.
Looks like I've found us a gas station on rte 23 by Tri State Mall (Cumberland Farms). I'm guessing that there's also food in that complex.
Okay - Houston, we have a route. Gas Station stop up at highpoint on rte 23. Deli stop a little ways after that and a drive down through Delaware Water Gap. I think we have a pretty drive lined up.
The fun bit is that I have us on I-80 for a few miles before I take us back onto the state roads, so we can play for a few miles and rearrange the line a little.
Ed, would you be willing to guide a small(er) group of hardcore types on Rt 97 after we reach High Point? Though I suppose if we're just going to stay on Rt 97 and simply turn around after a certain point, not much guidance will be required... Anyone else interested in the Rt 97 "detour" run?
Perhaps I should table this discussion for now -- in some sense I'm thread-jacking -- and we can simply handle this sometime around the deli stop.
Wellardmac: Thanks for setting up this drive. Please count me in.
Count me in- I'm here from Caymanclub.net. A few folks from there are in on this. I'll have to study this route and especially the starting point. Dont know where Lambertville is yet. Look forward to it....
Glad to have you along!
For the starting point click on the link above that will take you to Google maps.
The finish point will be Tinicum Park, PA - basically on the opposite side of the Delaware River from where we started.

well hello.....
another one from Long Island looking to join in the fall fiesta,. if there are no objections to chicks driving boxsters......
however, i see 2 dates mentioned for this event..... October 13 or September 30th..... which is it, i may be reading the posts backwards...
thanks
jackie
metroNY.
Is there a map link showing the route yet? I may have missed it but i only seo one for the starting point. I'm looking to nuderstand the intended route.. any help?
Glad to have you along. No objections to chicks driving Boxsters here.
The date for the drive is October 13th.
Sept 30th, is me date for doing the dry run with a couple of our regulars to see if we have a good route and make any necessary changes.
The route will be given out on the morning of the drive. Everyone gets a copy given to them when they sign in. I typically do not give out the route in advance.
We mostly don't even disclose the details of the drive in advance - we keep it a surprise.
On this occasion, this event is more about enjoying the scenery and the social aspects, rather than the fun of me dragging a train of Porsches through the backroads on a high speed rollercoaster (well, mostly).
This time around I've dislosed the two main areas that we'll be driving through and given people warning that it will be longer than our previous drives.
As for nuderstanding the route - I'm guessing that was a reference to our topless participants in their Boxsters.
This sounds great. I'm really looking forward to this drive.
As I mentioned earlier, we'll probably figure out our Route 97 detour when we stop near High Point. We'll have a much better idea of how much we can pull off once we have the full route info (especially stopping locations and durations) from Wellardmac.
Anybody want to caravan from Long Island to the starting point in Lambertville? It's a two-hour drive for me from Great Neck; I'd enjoy hitting the road at 5:15 AM a little more if I had some Porsche company.
yah, especially since it could turn out to be a "neuter" stand..... somehow, i just dont think you guys
really
want to go there.....
i'm sorry, this jumpy thing is funny...
We don't do sign-ups. We go with whoever shows up. Typical drives have been 20-35 cars. If we get more cars, then we'll split the group and stagger groups by 10 minutes.
I know that this is short notice, but is anyone that is joining us on the 13th interested in joining us for the dry run tomorrow? I'd prefer to have at least one other car along with us that can get to know the route.
Drop me a PM and let me know.
Okay, we did the dry run today... it's a very pretty drive and was a lot of fun... lots of straights if we choose to stretch our legs a little.
I am going to make two modifications to the drive based on what we learned today.
i) I think we'll cut the Delaware Water Gap out of the drive - there are two bottlenecks that are a pain for traffic and I don't think that any of us would have the patience to sit there in traffic.
ii) Ask you all to bring along picnic lunches. We can grab food up there, but I think it would be much more fun to eat up at the monument and enjoy the view. If the weather is bad, then there are near-by restaurants that we can use as a Plan B.
In terms of timing, the arriving back a little after 2pm still seems reasonable. We left at 8am and arrived there at 10:15am. An early picnic lunch would get us back on the road before noon and at our end point before 2pm.
Now, here are some photos taken today... they really don't do the view justice, but it gives you an idea of how amazing the view is from there at the monument - you can probably see over 100 miles in each direction and can see NY, NJ and PA. Pretty cool.
To be honest I looked for one and didn't find an appropriate spot to stop. The drive is an easy one, so we were leaning towards telling people to stop as needed.
Let me look back at our notes and see if I can find a place where you guys can join up with us.
i believe 2 more just joined our LI caravan!! if my buddy w/the Ruf gets back to me, maybe 8 total from here...
happy jumpy guy just cant sit still....
Well, if Phil was not "on call" this weekend
you could have him lead the pack. There is no way anyone could get lost. They would all be able to see his car at the head of the pack, raised up on the flatbed of a tow truck and him in the driver's seat of his car making vrrooommm noises!
When Phil states that he drove his C4S around this past week, THAT is what he means!
Hey Phil, your psychotherapist called and said he forgot to order the Leather Fuse Panel Cover. He also asked me to tell you that has an opening tomorrow morning at 9:00 A.M. Oh, yeah...... bring your checkbook!
If I hadn't met Phil I'd be fairly convinced that he and his C4S were just cruel, but sad, myths.... the Porsche that never drives. It's the lost Aesop's fable.
Time for a quick bump in preparation for next week's drive.
Things to remember:
1) Bring a picnic lunch - we will be eating lunch in the park.
2) Make sure you fill up your car and empty your bladder before you arrive in the parking lot.
3) Bring 2-way radios if you have them - it's a good way to keep in touch during the drive.
4) Bring money. The park wasn't charging entrance when we visited, but I don't know if the do charge at peak times.
You will find a coffee shop on Bridge St. in Lambertville for coffee and donuts if you so desire. Also, you will find 2 gas stations at the intersection of Bridge St. and Rte 29 for filling up/emptying out. These gas statinos are a short walk from the start point.
The leaves appear to be changing at a good pace right now, so I'm hopeful for some spectacular views by next weekend.
Would it be a good idea for everyone to make up a nametag or sign to put in the rear side window - so we know who is who? Aside from Wellard's white C2, I probably wouldn't recognize anyone else!
That's not a bad idea. We've talked about it in the past. I occasionally wear a name tag, but others are harder to identify. If you'd like to do something like that feel free.
Oh, another point. Take lots of photos during the drive and send them to me afterwards. I always post photos on a website and write and article for the local PCA region.
We haven't scheduled a formal stop into this drive because there isn't a good place that can take so many cars.
he way we'll run this one is to tell people that they can stop as suits them and catch up. The route is very easy, so the chances of getting lost are low.
I'm going to take another look at the route tonight to see if I missed anything on the first pass that might work for us.
I had the crazy thought of washing the car the morning of...which means about 5:30am, so I can be done by 6:00 to get going and make it to Lambertville by 7:30 or so.
Life is too complicated - I may arrive in a semi-clean 911 !
so are you going up to high point monument? if so , there is a fabulus rd call Hawk's nest like 5 miles away...nice scenic ride to relax on along the delaware river.
here are some pictures and a video
http://outdoors.webshots.com/photo/2...11412446YCseds

not my video btw..but cool song
I plan on driving to Lambertville (1 hour), riding up to High Point park (2 plus hours), then heading directly back home from the park (1 hour). I wont have time to do more driving on that nice mountain road - this time anyway. Plus, that single lane, rocks on one side, cliff on the other kinda scares me!
I know about Hawks nest - unfortunately, it burned down a couple of years ago. I'm told that it was a good drive and view though.
We'll not be going up there, as it's quite a trek on top of an already long drive. Locals are free to head up there if they choose, but I'm guessing that many will share Andy's sentiment that it's best to head home from High Point.
We were orginally going to return back to PA via DWG, but decided against it once we saw how bad the traffic was and decided that Highpoint should be the sole focus. I think most will be happy with that and I'm sure that they'll be glad to avoid the bad traffic that would have come from heading through DWG.
Yeah, I'm up in Massachusetts this week, so made sure that I washed the car last weekend before I left.
...looking forward to being home on Friday. Getting up early on Saturday is going to be tough after a week of meetings running until late.
it is literally 7 miles...i live in the area. The Hawks nest resturant burned long ago...but the area which is also called Hawks nest (and the road, ny rt 97) is still there and is DEFINETLY worth the 10 minute or less ride...
I have to figure driving at 6am toward PA, my car will be covered in bugs by the time I get to Lambertville anyway - so why wash it again!?
Will we all park at High Point and have a meet and great, at least for a few minutes?
PS--I was looking forward to relaxing at home on Friday, but instead I will be driving into Westchester to pick up my new-to-me winter 17" rims and tires! Another 3 hours of driving - before the 4 hours of driving! D'oh!
I plan to get some people together for a drive on Rt 97 sometime after we arrive at High Point. See earlier in this thread for some other people who also expressed interest. Anyway, since you know the area I would appreciate some help working out the details when we're at High Point.
See you Saturday.
I am going to attempt to wash the car on Friday night...(I am crazy...) I am leaving at 6:15 to make it to Lambertville by 7:15, I will be leaving from Morristown (down 287 South to 202 South) anyone going my way at the same time?
I might be leaving closer to 6:30 - from Madison. I may stop for coffee at the Starbucks on Columbia turnpike...or not, since I have NO CUPHOLDER.
PS--Nothing like washing the car in the dark, with mosquitoes having their way with you!
If getting some coffee is planned, we should meet at 6:20, so we can be on the road by 6:30. There shouldn't be traffic that early on Saturday, but 202 is a slow road. Wouldn't want to miss the pack in Lambertville.
Anyone have an extra Ultimate Cupholder to loan me!?
Ultimate cup holder is the add-on cup holder of choice in this forum. Problem is, I should have ordered one weeks ago, but forgot! I'll have to put some Velcro on my Starbucks travel cup, and hope it sticks to the console carpet area!
See you guys at Starbucks (I assume they are open that early?)
Glad to seee you guys traveling in together. It will be cool to see you arrive in lambertville.
Don't worry, we'll be spending quite some time at Highpoint. We'll have the standard meet and greet - social time. Time to admire the view and also time to grab lunch and chat some more. I think we'll arrive a little after 10am. I do not envisage us leaving before 11:15am.
Much as I would like to do Hawks Nest, I cannot in good conscience lead a long line of cars on a road that I do not know and have not driven. Keeping the pace and having the pack together in a safe procession is best done when you've driven the road. Long processions do not stop and start on a dime, plus turning everyone around on a wrong turn is difficult, time consuming and tough to do without distrupting other traffic. If we were to drive up, then backtrack we would need a very large parking lot to accept and restage the cars for a turnaround.
Just my $0.2. My goal in organizing a drive is to have a safe and enjoyable drive that doesn't disrupt the locals - I do so by ensuring that I've scouted out the road in advance.
Hi guys,
Looks like it will be a great turnout.
We plan on attending with our 997TT.
For anybody wanting to hear our exhaust in person, or experience 700hp on pump gas, this would be a good opportunity.
Let me know if there are any other parts people would be interested in seeing first hand and I'll do my best to bring them along.
See you tomorrow (if we can get our car back together off the prototype lift in time!).
I'd like to try to make this, but I don't get off my EMT shift until 0700. Can I get in touch with someone to catch up with you later if I can't make the meeting point?
As both of my kids have swim lessons at 9:00 am, I cannot make the drive. However, I will make an effort to be in Lambertville at 7:15 just to meet some of you. 7:15 still the time? at
Lambertville Municipal Court
25 S Union St, Lambertville, NJ 08530?
Stefan
P.S. Car will most likely NOT be clean.
sorry for the last min question.
i am planning to join the caravan when you guying driving to NJ
what is the route your guys will take from Lambertville NJ to Highpoint State Park, NJ?
u take 287? can you tell me approximately when you will be at bridge, NJ on 287? i am planning to get on from there.
thx
Well let me be the first to thank
Wayne for coordinating another great run!
Great roads, well executed, stunning scenery at a fun yet safe pace. Also, again a really nice bunch of people.
As I didnt have my camera with me, would love to see pics from others!
Thanks!

Here are some photos taken today at the Final Fling Highpoint Drive.
It was great to see our regulars again and to meet others for the first time.
Thanks to AndyK for donating photos - others will follow as they come in.
A full set of photos can be found here -

I look forward to us getting together again in the Spring! (Don't get Cabin Fever!)
Thanks Phil - it was great to see you again - It's always good to have our NY friends join us.
Photos posted above - let me know if you'd like copies of any.
If anyone else has photos, please please, please email copies to me if you don't mind sharing and I'll post them up for others to see.
Thanks!
Thanks for a great outing, wellardmac! It was a very safe, very enjoyable ride. Except that person who got a ticket for double the speed limit!
(Just so no one gets a bad rep around here, I feel the need to disclose that the limit at the time was for some reason 15mph, bah!)
Looking forward to the next outing, which will hopefully be on a Sunday so I can sleep first.
Thank you!
It was great to meet you and your lovely White Carrera S. I think I met my next car.
I think we'll have to stop using that backroad now that I know that police are likely to be lurking to give tickets. I'm amazed that someone was caught. Getting ticketed for 36mph in a 15mph zone is just wrong... especially when the road could easily have handled 40mph. The recipient was just unlucky to be at the back of the line.
Nice Pics... Our Fall Foliage tour is next Sunday the 21st... Looks like everyone had a great time... What was your final tally of cars?
Fall is really late this year... A lot of green trees in those photos...
We had 34 cars on this drive - a perfect number.
The wacky weather has messed with the foliage this year. I was in Massachusetts all week and there's still a lot of green up there also. Things might look better by the 21st. Connecticut had the best foliage that I saw, but it's still not peaking there either.
i was handling some family thing in the morning, i wanted it to be a quick 'in-and-out', but it wasn't like that. so pissed.
any way, i think i missed ALL 3 runs this year. for that, i DEMAND another 911!
Hey, that white C2S looked much better in person than in the photos I've seen of them! Nice color choice!
I forgot to ask, knowing who you work for, how were you working so late?
My wife and I climbed all 291 steps...it was cool, first time I had been there in 30 years. I did not think it was open to go in, and I live like 20 miles away. Afterwards, we headed over the mountain to the hawks nest in NYS, but sadly the batteries in my camera had died already.
Love the light wash effect on those last pictures...I was really glad the shot came out like that.

Nice shots Pete! I was very impressed at how aggressive the Caymans look in person, on the road. Funny, I saw that powder blue 911 (1990 version?) on 519, and thought - I bet the seller didn't even know 35 Porsches would be passing by that day!
Awesome photos Pete!
Yeah, I got a kick out of seeing that 911 also - was it an RSA? I wish it had been driving with us.
As for the Caymans, I love those cars - I get a kick out of seeing them at every drive. Cobalt Blue or White just make that car look so good.
I agree that the Caymans look good in white! Cobalt is a great color for any Porsche too! It was fun to see how many different colors showed up - not just silver or black!
Mice dicks... er.... nice pics guys!
Did you notice the difference in the "white" colors in the 4th pic in post #149? It appears to be Wayne's 996 (closest to camera) and a Cayman. Is the Cayman Carrara White or is it a "paint to sample" color similar to Linnen? Does anyone know? Just curious.
Yeah, it is noticable when the different "white" cars are parked together.
Mine is Glacier White, the others I believe were Carrera White. The Glacier IMHO is a cleaner white with a blue tint to it that really makes it look eyecatching.
Thanks for the compliments everyone. Next time we need to find some 4 lane roads where I can get an "action" shot of everyone on the move.
Then again, next time I hope to be driving my own Porsche instead of riding shotgun!
By the way, does anyone remember where along Rt. 519 we saw the powder blue 993 with the For Sale sign? Thanks to my quick snapshot, I've been asked about this car by several folks offline.
Thanks,
-Pete
Thanks Andy,
I knew it was a shot in the dark. I was hoping someone noticed what turn off or the next junction was after seeing that car.
Hey redridge, very nice pictures. Next time I've got to jump in your passenger seat to see how those GT3 seats feel, it completely slipped my mind that morning.

No problem Pete, It was good to talk to you guys, hope to see your around again with your new ride! Will you have it before the 10/28. I think there is an event on that day.
Unfortunately my delivery will probably be around Thanksgiving, just in time for winter! Oh well.
Can't make the run on the 28th, but I have a good excuse. I'll be attending a 2-day DE at Watkins Glen to throw the G35 around.
As a side note, I also enjoyed the hour long trek down to Lambertvile with Rick, David, and Craig. I am always up for a quick hour or so of driving on the weekends - maybe a few winter afternoon coffee run drives, up or down 287 or 78? It's fun to play follow the leader on the highway, especially with other Porsches.
I'd love to get another ride in before the end of the year, but sadly the Oct. 28th ride is 2.5hrs north and the November ride is 3 hours south... no ideal there. There's got to be another one before the end of the year.
Come on, that's not so bad! Remember, you wanted me to drive 9 hours to attend your Spring Fling!
Anyway, maybe you could get Phil to drive up there with you! Yeah, THAT'S gonna happen!
Hey folks! Sorry I didn't get to join you all up at the park as I had planned. I got hung up at the high school after I watched you all go through. Thanks for the headlight flashes, beeps, and waves. At least my son and I got to enjoy seeing all the P cars go through, although I have to tell you, the coolest thing was when we first heard you coming about 1/2 mile before. What a S-W-E-E-T rumble. There was no doubt in our minds what that rumble was.
I imortalized you all in high definition video as you passed, for our future reflection - Mpg file to follow soon (I'll upload it if I''m allowed). Only got the backside of the last group though, sorry about that guys.
Some pretty rides in that train, starting with Wellardmac's. Your pics don't do that car justice. Loved the T with the BBS wheels and decals along the rocker. Noticed a pretty Boxster with New Country licence plate frames. Looked a lot like mine. Bought mine from them also. Thought I saw a 930 in there...love them. The Caymans looked nasty (good nasty). Thought about trading my 986 in for one after a couple years, but have since fell in love with those top down, stereo blasting (modified of course), summer night drives.......
Sure hope I can make the next one. Would have been fun to meet you all.
I'm looking forward to seeing (and hearing) the video also - that must have been quite a sight. Thanks for the comment on the car. I love the photos of my car, but you're right, it looks really good in person.
As for the drive on the 28th, I got the 2.5hrs from Google - bearing your comment in mind it would probably be 2 hours for me to to the start point - that roughly coincides with my memory from having passed by there before.
Glenn - I would love to see some pics of you Lapis Blue showing the Metropol Blue interior. I haven't seen that combo yet. I'll bet it is sweet! Here are a couple pics of my Lapis which has Graphite Gray interior with deviating Metropol Blue carpet.
The Sony. I use Adobe Premier 2 to edit on a P4 2.8 ghz with 2 GB ram. The video card I use is a ATI Radion 9800 feeding 2 Samsung widescreen monitors. I have 4 90mm fans in the case to keep it all cool. Yes, it takes some serious HP to do high def.
My kid plays football (since he was 8. He's now 16), and he's good, so I needed the stuff for filming him. I cut highlights every year and do a pro sstyle DVD for the team. I started doing it for his DVD to send to prospective college coaches. Comes in handy for things like this.
gota911, I love the interior. Makes me want to replace my light grey carpet with midnight blue to match my exterior. I had already thought about buying new mats in that color...your pics just convinced me.
Thank you! The deviating carpet really makes the interor darker when compared to an all gray interior. I think the deviating carpet also gives the interior a little more depth.
Is your exterior Lapis or Midnight? I can't tell for certain from your avatar.
Here are a couple of pics of the back seat area. I also like my storage bin cover.
OK, the paint is Midnight Blue. The top color is Metropol Blue because Porsche did not make soft top in a color called Lapis Blue. The carpet or mat color or you would want to order would be G10 - Metropol Blue.
You can probably get the best price from Sunset Imports (Porsche dealer) in Oregon. They sell Porsche OEM parts at cost +15%.
Yep...Metropol Blue it is....just looked it up on the window sticker. I'll have to take a look at the carpet replacement cost at Suncoast. Sounds like a good winter project to me.
That just
totally
sets the interior off. I
really
like the look.
