Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Take the VIN number and go onto the RennTech.org board and ask the site administrator Loren if he'd run the VIN...it should come back with a list of all the options.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hello All,
I am not good with the 996 at all, and to make matters worse, this one has the option tag torn off (part is still there, so the hood is original)
2003 C4S, Silver with black, Sport Seats, BOSE, 23k. Never hit, Good carfax, good service records
Here is my questions:
Is the silver color console an option?
Is the leather dash and door panels an option?
Headliner is suede (option or standard?)
18 Turbo wheels optional?
Basically, take a look at the shots and tell me if you see any options worth noting. I have been tasked with selling this car for a friend and its a little out of my league as my knowledge stopped with the last aircooled in 98
I listed it in the For Sale forum as well.......$47,500. The front bumper has been repainted and probably needs to be again. Its a nice car but not showroom perfect
Thanks for any help!!

Console is an extra...about 800 or 900 I think. Leather dash and doors is standard on the C4S. The car looks fantastic, and would sell for at least 50K at a dealer, maybe a tad higher for CPO. Wheels and headliner standard.

call 800 porsche
they can tell u the option code.
the silver painted console and sport-seats are extra. everything else is standard on C4S, remeber, C4S has many extra things standard, compare to regular carrera.
There's a copy of the option label pasted into either your service and warranty book, or the manual. Forget which, but it's identical to the one under the hood.
Car is sold. We went the wholesale route and sent the car to auction. Man, what a great time to buy a Porsche. They were giving them away yesterday at Manheim (Quakertown).
