Anyway after a last night read of a last year shock thread I'm wondering if Koni has changed their sport shock recently.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm debating changing at least the front shocks. Koni sport shocks 8741-1543Sport / 8241-1274Sport were the ones I was looking at. I really prefer the top side adjusting variety. Sport bikes do spoil a guy with that feature. I did find a Koni pdf showing the yellow sport shocks that look like they actually do have an adjuster on top. I'd like to know if they actually do. I'd be asking for too much to get preload, rebound and such but eh. Anyway after a last night read of a last year shock thread I'm wondering if Koni has changed their sport shock recently. I'd like to know what ever input you guys have. http://www.koni.com/fileadmin/user_u...-SPORT_ENG.pdf

POST 2Original post

I had a set on another car and they had great adjustability for street. I would suggest that you do both front and rear.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

JMLA are the Koni fronts adjustable on top in the trunk?

POST 4Original post

I had them installed on a Prelude (all four had top adjustment), so I don't know what the configuration would be on a 996.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yah something has to replace at least the front shocks. The funny looking one is the passnger side.

POST 7Original post

Any other input regarding these Koni's? I like the idea of top adjustability. What about which springs to match them up to? Eibach, H&R, RoW M030?
