Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Yes - I did it. It took my more than 40 years. I will pick it Friday this week, a 996 C4S from 2004 in Speed Gelb. Please feel free to send advice, recommendations and tricks. Thank you in advance. report will follow later from Denmark
Very cool and congrats! Drive it in good health and by all mean drive the heck out of it. Did the wheels come painted black with the yellow band like that from factory? I think it looks great. I believe Vu, PCA president, has a 996.1 with black wheels and a red band so it got me curious.
Looks good! Here are a couple of articles that I recommend to all new C4S owners (if you haven't found them yet). The 4S is great car, these articles will enrich your 911 ownership experience.

Good things come to those who wait. Congrats! Love the combo. Warm the car up properly and then dont be afraid to use all the revs and power and handling this car can provide. Its a blast and can take it!
Very cool! You should decode the options sticker and see if there is a specific code that might point to them being an option. Definitely not something we see often.
Welcome! Nothing like a Porsche and especially a 4S. Great color.
More pics would be appreciated! Like to see those wheels from a different perspective...
Welcome & congratulations Claus. My only tip for somebody with a new 911 in their driveway is drive it often and drive it hard. These cars are happiest on the road above 3,000 RPM. Please share lots of photos from Denmark. We don't have many members from your part of the world - it's fun to see Porsche stories from new places. Enjoy Gelb in best of health!
I dont know if its documented officially in every owners manual, but most people would agree on these items:
1.) Startup and drive off immediately, keeping revs between 2,000-3,000RPMs, and not using too much throttle.
2.) Drive like this until water temps hits 180F. Ten minutes after that, the oil is fully warmed up.
3.) You can now use 100% of the throttle and RPMs.
Many folks start the engine and wait 15-30 seconds for the RPMs to settle down a bit. Others progressively increase the throttle and RPMs as temp increases. None of these options are wrong.
Wrong is to startup and put the hammer down right away. Or start the car and idle to warm it up. Or start the car for a minute to move it and then shut it down and leave it off.
