Read evidence and context

Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

This is part of the ordering guide......."Sport chassis with more rigidly tuned springs, shock absorbers and stabilizer bars". Does anyone know if this is the same or near the M030 or is this just a one off setup they through together for marketing purposes?

POST 2Original post

On US cars it is the sport suspension used on widebody cars. From the 2004 Service Technik Book... "The chassis and suspension, including the brake system of the 911 special model (M 095), has been adopted in its basic components from the 911 Carrera sports suspension. In order to achieve alanced handling as well as the familiar high level driving dynamics also on the special model, the rear axle springs have been adapted to the higher weight and resultant changes in driving dynamics."

POST 5Original post

40 Jahre has the US sports suspension, not the Euro M030. I read somewhere that it is just as sitff as the euro version but not lowered. Therefore same height of center of gravity which defeats some of the improvements of a sports-tuned suspension. Euro M030 is 20mm lower in the front and 10mm in the back on average which many people here say completes the better sport feel.

POST 6Original post

It is more stiff and jarring than normal. I am glad that they kept the normal height, because I drive my daily and steep driveways can be a problem.

POST 7Original post

Yep, mine is lowered and is fantastic - swift turn-in, negligible roll, nimble as all get-out.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
