Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I have used Silverstar and concur with the above, they are great.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

No affiliation, but it was probably one of the following...

Of the two, the second is listed all over ebay. Website is extremely outdated but if you contact them they will get back to you in a timely manner. It is high priced but I have found they have many items in factory body color. Not sure of the quality.....
Silver Star Recycling in Rancho Cordova CA is fantastic. I have purchased 3 salvage vehicles from them. Ask for Ryan. He has always given me great prices on parts. They currently have a silver 3.4 996 with lots of parts left.
LA Auto Dismantlers prices were terrible both times I called. I tried to purchase part of the wiring harness and the power steering pump reservior for my 996. They would only sell me the wiring harness for the entire car and the reservior & pump. I will never do business with them.
Just my 2 cents.
Be VERY careful with LA Auto....bot my brother and I have had BAD experiences with them....They seem to be con artists...they have SOME items, maybe the ebay items, in stock...but when you call them, they will lie about their stock. I tried to buy a head unit from a Boxster years ago, called, got a price, told them I would be by to BUY it that day. I got there, and waited and waited and waited in the lobby for the right guy (only one guy did Porsche, the rest did Honda). WHen the guy got there, he tried to sell em everything in the book....none of the items I asked about....all this while waiting for my head unit. I then AGAIN told him I was there for the head unit....he then said oh...hold on...then I waited again...now about an hour total time I was in the lobby...he comes out and shows me more cars that had mods to it, and asked if I was interested...then he shows me the head unit I wanted IN A CAR...then says...oh you want it now? YES...he says...oh it will take me a while to pull it...do I wanna pay now? NO. Here is my number, when you pull it, call me, I am local, I will come and get it....well 2 P cars and 6 years later, he has not called me yet....My brother had a similar story, except he wasnt local, so he wasted a plane trip. They offered to take a 964 rear valance and CUT a 2nd whole to make it fit a 965 with dual exhaust....all while they SPECIFICALLY told my brother they had a 965 in stock..even sent him pics of a 965 valance THAT DAY...and then they said, oh we must have sold it right before you got here....you are about 5 minutes too late.....even when they were supposed to be holding it for him...
Like Mark...I deal with Silverstar and they're reliable and up front. Since we both live close to Siverstar, if any of you have something you wanted checked out with them, I'd be happy to do it for you. LA Dismantlers have a history of negative issues.....just do a search on their name and the facts speak for themselves.
