Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

i have a GT3 style roll bar that i'd like to install myself. anyone have instructions or suggestions? so far, i know i'll be pulling the rear carpet and foam. beyond that, i'm not sure what to expect.

POST 2Original post

I believe that Rockitman over at Renntech.org has a DIY for this....... Some things to note... 1. Disconnect the battery so you don't deploy the air bags. 2. Mark the seat electrical connector prior to removing it so you re-install it correctly. 3. Have a friend help you put the bar in the car, this is not a 1 man install. 4. Tape the headliner before you slide the bar back into posiiton so you dont tear the liner. 5. You will need to cut some interior plastic at the connection nearest the seats so the bar fits. See pic. and most importantly... make sure you have lots of beer.....
