Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

From my search efforts, it sounds like a TT or GT3 bumper cover is a direct fit on my MY02 NB C2. 1) Is this correct? 2) Are there any parts required, in addition to the cover? e.g. radiator ducts, bumper bars, brackets, etc? Thanks, Joe

POST 2Original post

gt3 yes, tt... slight mod, might need to make a bracket...there are lots of people here that have done it. radior ducts are needed in both cases, however you can still run with stock one but some of the airflow will leak out the sides... the gt3 you can get away with not so sure with the tt.

POST 3Original post

I believe many also do the third radiator mod with the gt3 fascia conversion to make up for lost air intake due to the not exact duct match.....

POST 4Original post

I have a TT bumper on my '02 cab - it was a direct bolt on. You need the "eyebrows" by the headlights (yours will not transfer over) and the corrcet grills, but it fits. The 2 issues are: 1. The underside of the bumper is a bit shorter so it will not reach the mounting points for the 3 screws. It's short by about 2-3". I made a little metal tab with holes drilled in the ends and it works fine. 2. You can see part of the bumper support through the grills since the turbo bumper support is shorter. Some people paint it some people cut it - it's up to you.
