Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I need to review the settings and make sure I am using the G-Timer 100% properly, but it is definitely a cool little gadget.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The local Hi-Fi Buys store is closing down, and I was able to pickup a Passport G-Timer GT2 for $50. I probably never would have paid the $180 that most places ask for this gadget, but for $50 I couldn't pass it up. I haven't really played around with the settings, just left the factory defaults. I did five 0-60 runs in the 996 that ranged from 5.02 to 5.28, although I know they weren't my best launches. I also noticed that in one corner I had .90 lateral Gs, although I really wasn't trying to test for that. In a few corners I did try to push it and the best I could produce is .85. I need to review the settings and make sure I am using the G-Timer 100% properly, but it is definitely a cool little gadget. So far the moral of the story is... it is easy to drive fast when you aren't trying, and surprisingly hard when you are.

POST 2Original post

Wow! Go back an grab me one, lol! I come down monthly. When is the actual closing date, do you know?

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

It was yesterday. I picked mine up Friday and they had three of them. They were all gone yesterday. I guess I should have said the store "closed down", Sorry. I don't think I will actually use it much in the 996, but will plan to permanently mount it in the 964 when that project is far enough along.
