When someone posts a pic of a girl with their car, it's probably a good rule-of-thumb, if you don't have something nice to say about her, keep your mouth shut.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Let me start out by saying Boulder Colorado is B E A U T I F U L ! I did not actually realize these numbers until AFTER I bought the 2003 C4S 1. I paid only $8000 more for a pre owned 2003 C4S with 15,000 Mi. than I did for my 2000 base boxster new. (Woah) 2. The Boxster new with Dealer installed options OTD was $51,000 in 2000. 3. The C4S new was $95,000 OTD with Dealer installed options in 2003. 5. That is a $44,000 more worth of car for $8000 (Woah, again) Purchase justification complete! and a good refrence for those considering buying used vs. new.

POST 2Original post

Good value. Paid just over 50K for my 04 C4S, what a great car.

POST 3Original post

bernocco, I must respectfully say something that I think others are not saying, but to be quite honest since you are voluntarily posting pics of some lady... she looks like a transvestite and for those of us who sometimes surf rennlist while at work... not entirely worksafe.

POST 4Original post

mine in 2000 Mill Ed cost $96K bought it for $40K w/ 26k miles in 2006... I dont think I will ever buy a new P-car.

POST 5Original post

bought my 2004 c4s with 11k miles for $57K 2 wks ago. no options though, but still have the original warranty until end of this year. what do you guys think....

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

POST 8Original post

not cpo'ed. the car was bought from a private seller. he wanted $63K originally, but i just sat and watched onlinie everyday until his advertising price came down to $58K.... john

POST 9Original post

I hope that is not his wife you are referring too.........

POST 10Original post

I hope that's not his wife either but at first I thought the same thing....

POST 11Original post

Uh oh Benjamin - this is from another thread. Bernocco refers to her as "the Mrs. doing what she does best" showing the same pics. You might want to lay off talking bad about a guys' wife until you find out if it is actually his wife or a transvestite like you assumed. I think it is pretty funny tho.

POST 12Original post

I don't think it is funny at all! Benjamine crossed the line here! I think it is very poor manners. Would he say that to Bernocco in person? I think not! In case you think that this is a case of "the pot calling the kettle black," I can assure you it is not. I joke around a lot on the Forum, but I never make condescending or disparaging remarks about Rennlisters or their family members.

POST 13Original post

When I first saw the pics I thought the lady bernocco herself. Why did you all assume bernocoo is a man? Back to the topic: NOW HOW ABOUT SOME PICS OF THE C4S, John Henry !

POST 14Original post

Ben, your habit of posting before engaging brain is going to land you in trouble. having strong opinions is one thing - posting insults is just out of order I'd suggest a public apology is in order - and a review of your personal posting style

POST 15 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

OK, here is just one for now. I will get some more up soon.

POST 16Original post

Very nice!! GR looks so good on that car. I almost bought a red '02 C4S that Brandywine Porsche had FS with 1900 miles a couple of years ago, but just wasn't ready to pull the trigger at the time. I love what I have, but red really sets the car off. Enjoy!!

POST 18Original post

Oh, come on, Phil, admit it! The reason you didn't buy the red one is because it had too many miles on it!

POST 19Original post

Banjamin Choi, I must respectfully say something that I think others are not saying, but to be quite honest since you are voluntarily posting your rude comments... You are an a$$hole.

POST 20Original post

Just to get back on topic here. I agree with the other Phil, that is one gorgeous red C4S! Welcome to the wide butt club!

POST 21Original post

Ben, you are a total *******! I feel offended and it's not even my wife!! You said things about a (new) members wife, and that is completely the most offensive thing you could possible do to someone First off, don't ever be so bold as to think you're speaking for me. I can MOST-assuredly guarantee you, my friend, YOU ARE NOT!!! I personally think his wife is gorgeous and the pics are awesome, as well as in very good taste. Second of all, if someone can't post a pic of their wife, fully clothed working on a Porsche, for the fear of offending someone at work, I'm on the wrong forum. Thirdly, keep your lame-*** opinions to yourself, no one really cares what you think about anything, anyhow!!! You obviously have NO class NOR tact! Whether you knew it was his wife before hand or not, you owe bernocco an apology, as well as I and anyone else on this forum you have offended. Most of the time, I think you just say **** to offend people, once again, you have seriously crossed a line here, as far as I'm concerned. Good day! PS. Please excuse my language, I felt I had to speak frankly.

POST 22Original post

Who works on a car in a miniskirt and heels? Certainly no women I know. If you post something on the internet, be prepared for the consequences. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and no one is entitled to not be offended. Ben was being honest and at least a few other folks have agreed. I don't even understand why these pictures are in this thread, anyways. The thread is about C4S purchases, not trophy wives. He should've started a new thread .

POST 23Original post

I disagree. There are certain things you don't/say, if you want to be a respected member of this community. I NEVER said "BEN" couldn't say what he wanted, nor did I try to stifle his speech. I simply said, he was WAY out of line, AND That is MY opinions and I AM entitled to it. If he ever wants to set things right between me and I'm sure many other people here, he should "mea culpa". furthermore, I am most certainly "allowed" to be offended "FOR" a fellow member, which I AM. Just because it's the internet DOES NOT mean all grace and tact have to go out the window. This is part of what makes this such a great community. This site is and should be policed by the members. If I say something out of line, and the community LETS ME KNOW, I will either apologize OR suffer the consiquences of possible ostricization.

POST 24Original post

What a sad state of affairs.... You absolutely crossed the line here but considering your usual nonsense posts it is not like we didn't see this coming.

POST 25Original post

Seriously, did you even read my post? I said you don't have a right to NOT be offended. You can be as offended as you want, go for it! You even called him a bunch of names, nice! You went so far as to say, "keep your lame-*** opinions to yourself." You go about calling him names and attacking his character, but then you tell him to censor himself? I like Ben's comments. They add some color to this forum. Since we are all voicing our opinions, I find it to be much more tactless and in poor taste to post photos of another human being on a public forum for the purpose of validation, especially when it's a CAR forum. Obviously Bernie doesn't feel that way, so he went for it. Ben doesn't share his taste, too bad.

POST 26Original post

the guy posted pictures of his wife....and it was supposed to be funny, her loving the P-car soo much....I see this forum sinking...I guess the 2nd hand P-cars getting cheaper and so are the owners and their brainless remarks!

POST 27Original post

You like his comments? You say say it adds Color? I suppose by that you mean it adds some sort of entertainment value for you? Or adds to the substance of this forum? Making remarks like that about a members wife? From one "MEMBER" to another "MEMBER"? If you support someone saying something with complete disregard for someones family, you are as big of a jerk as he. I certainly hope, for the future of this forum, that you two are in the major-minority on this one. All Bernacco did was show off his car, and his wife with his car, both of which he has reason to be proud of. Did he open himself up for people to make asanine comments? Sure he did. Now I see BOTH of you're true colors and now "I" have no respect for Ben, you and anyone else on this god-damned forum who thinks that was ANYTHING but mean, hateful and hurtful to another fellow member of this forum AND his family. That my friend, is WHERE I STAND!

POST 28Original post

Nic, I now have 2 second hand p cars......but I certainly don't think my comments here are brainless. Not to start a flame war....but that's a bit general. There are a-holes no matter where you go.....I think the knowledge and general fantastic attitude here outweigh any negatives that some others may bring here. I'm sure most would agree with me. Do you need to purchase a Porsche brand new in order to better fit here....of course not. Best to all, can't we all just get along???? J

POST 29Original post

If you look at Ben's comments on this forum as a whole, they add more than they detract. I stated I like his comments and I feel he adds something to the forum. If you feel the need to read into that and direct your hate and name calling at myself and others simply because we like having Ben on the forum, that's your call. Everyone gets a little colorful at one time or another. If I was to put 24" spinners and underbody lighting on my Porsche and post pictures of it on here, I probably wouldn't receive a favorable response, and no one would give it a second thought. No need to ostracize a member simply because you don't agree with them. If you feel the need to showoff your wife like a car for validation, that's your call, but not everyone is going to share the same opinion on the matter.

POST 30Original post

Jon..then my comment wasn't meant for you... but we are all adults here and the remark about the women) was out of place. And giving someone your 2 cents about his choice of mods on his car is a little different than calling someones wife, girlfriend, children, grandma etc... names.... some people do not have the same vision on style......that is why the world is such a colorful place! If it was up to me and my wife (watch what your saying about her!! NO I won't poswt an image of BIG pregnant body) the whole world would be dressed in black, grey, dark blue, light grey or off white...and only SOLID colors or tasteful stripes.....but that would be BORING...and we wouldn't have anything to laugh about!!

POST 31Original post

Nic, Agreed. But since you are an artist/photographer, I'm surprised you want the black and white only!! LOL. I surfed your site....pretty damn impressive I must say. Most of the models are just stunning as well....must be fun. J

POST 32Original post

Jon, I know..that is why I wrote boring..and in real life the models are not that stunning...the "stunningness" comes from a software program called photoshop and my 7+ years of working with it.....and I am working with my wife, which can be difficult (when it comes to creative input) as well. I see you are from NY, that's where we moved from 3 years ago....so now I can really enjoy the cab. Nicolaas

POST 33Original post

I had no idea that I would cause so much discussion especially given that bern never even PMed telling me that he was offended. If he is, I apologize as I don't know who the heck that lady is in the pics other than when I surf on this forum let alone a re: C4S purchase thread, the last thing I want to see is a lot of cleavage and legs shoved in my face whether it's a transvestite or an MTV rap video honey. If it is Bern's wife, I totally apolgize as that is out of line. I just assumed it was some kind of joke that I didn't know about and I just replied with my honest thoughts on what "she" looked like. One thing I might gripe about is that don't assume who you think is pretty is pretty to other people especially cars and females. If you don't like it, let it be known, but yes, i could've been more careful with my words, but again, i didn't know who the heck that lady was or what relation she had with Bern. I don't want to ruffle feathers as I like this forum and get a lot of value out of it when talking about 911s. So, Bern, if that in fact is your wife or sister or aunt or concubine, I detract my comments... I tend to be pretty candid about things, but try not to be outright rude which may have been the case based on an incorrect assumption. We all still internet buds?

POST 34Original post

I'll just say, I was SHOCKED, when I saw your comment, at first I couldn't believe you said that, then I could, when I realized who said it!! Ben, you were carefull enough to preface your rude comment with "I must respectfully say something that others arent" etc.. So, you knew she meant something to him. You KNEW it was his car, therefore you MUST have known it was either (a) his girlfriend (b) his friend or (c) a family member. You said something, that would have hurt ANY person in the world, and you said it it a mean and hurtfull way, IMO. The problem is you DID NOT think. It's one thing to insult someones car (which you do on a continuous basis), it's another to insult someones girl. I would practice better judgement in the future and watch the personal insults. When someone posts a pic of a girl with their car, it's probably a good rule-of-thumb, if you don't have something nice to say about her, keep your mouth shut. Just cause it's the internet, doesn't mean you shouldn't worry about hurting someones feelings.

POST 35Original post

A juvenile adolescent attention needing jerk was my read of Mr. Benjamin Chois post. His first post to me and the second post made to me after posting a picture of my car was an insult and name calling of my car from Benjamin Choi. I dont care what anyone says about me or my car but this seems to be a real lack of character on his part, needless name calling.
