Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Which is best for my application as they have ones that bolt to the hub, that just fit inbetween and use longer wheelstuds etc etc.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

This is a bit off topic as it is for my RX-7 and not the 996 but if i posted this in off-topic i'll probably be yelled at for not posting up ******* or preying to the dark lord for another republican victory or something. But i digress. I need to get a spacer for the rear end of my RX..the wheel is 17x9 with 35mm offset and i need to get that down to at least a 20MM..preferably a 15 but i'll measure that first. Bolt pattern is 5x114mm. I've been looking at H&R and they make a bunch of spacers upto 40mm and beyond in a bunch of styles. Which is best for my application as they have ones that bolt to the hub, that just fit inbetween and use longer wheelstuds etc etc. Here is the link: http://www.hrsprings.com/site/products/trak.html

POST 2Original post

Most commonly used for the 996 are H&R DS series 7mm front and 14 or 15mm for the rear. They can be ordered from performance products. You must order them with longer wheel bolts. The total cost is arounf $280 or so. I just orderd some for my C4S and will be installing them next week. I will post before and after pix.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

do you know if H&R makes em for RX-7's? i'd imagine they would vary from car to car because they have to fit the center bore on the hub property right?

POST 4Original post

Oh, sorry did not read entire thread. RX7...I would call performance products. Their reps. are very heplfull. If the don't cary them they may be able to point you in the right direction.
